(1.24) CC? Why bother?

I don't like Jade Shield at all.  My second choice of shield is Carapace.

1. Indestructible
2. Octane and Decay = Win
3. 2 Damage Reduction
4. isn't used unless you have Feral Bonds or Elite Queens.

It is useful but I don't seem to play Octane and Decay much I may change it but I prefer to just have one type of shield so I don't feel stupid when I play the one best for the moment and suddenly the other one works better and I just wasted a lot of quantums.  I might change it but I don't know.

The thing is though, it really doesnt matter if you waste the quanta since you dont use life for anything anyways . I currently run 1 perm/1 jade, but I'm thinking of going to 2 perm/1 jade simply bc of how useful perms are, but yeah.

How do you usually lose? Decking out? Initial rushes?

my golems are usually last few cards so by the time i get them im at like 40 hp and the gods ahve there setup already done

I guess that's just bad luck because your golems shouldn't ALWAYS be your last few cards.

also, hermes is one of the tougher gods anyway - amilir himself went 0 for 4 on hermes

Decking out is going to happen alot with this deck as I have experienced.  If any cards clump at the bottom of your deck you can deck out.  Your golems, your pulvy against bonds, your fractal against bonewalls, all of these scenarios can lead to you decking out.
