That wouldn't be a bad idea. Another idea: maybe other players could work as NPC's, if they've already defeated the deck that the opponent wants to face? ex, I've defeated ffq. Thus, I could be given the code for the FFQ deck. I haven't beaten devourer yet, and thus a challenger shouldn't be able to challenge me as devourer, as I shouldn't know what that deck consists of.

I for one would love to help out with NPC battles. I've felt so bad for our NPC's this whole event, and wished I could help out. I've even considered dropping out of the event to take on an NPC role.

I like the concept, but we'd only be able to play 10 of the 12 NPCs. Nobody has beaten Crusader or Arctic Squid yet.

I think there are like 5 or so of us who still haven't been able to find an NPC to play against this round despite the extension. I know that I've been on almost everyday at different times, checking to see if itr is on but I haven't found him yet. So yeah, I really think that something needs to change for next round.

Imo npc battles are just free :electrum at this moment. So i suggest to just give the win moeny to the players.

It must be really anoying to have ppl asking you to play with those weak decks when you know what will be the result of the battle.

For this round and all rounds thereafter, you make take the 50 :electrum for the NPCs. (If you've already lost to an NPC this round, you may change it to a win)

Thinking forward for future replays of this event, the NPC games need to increase in difficulty from round to round. In the first round they were really hard to beat, because we had garbage decks, then they became easier each round.

How about gradually upgrading the NPC decks ? They can start out all unupgraded 1st round, then gain 3 upgrades each round, so in round 10 they would be fully upped.

I like the idea of the decks becoming better, but i don't think just upgrading them would work. Taking a crappy deck and upping it won't make it a good deck.

I think as the rounds go on, the NPC decks should become more streamlined and organized, maybe even changing them completely, while still keeping their "central" card.

One thing I don't really like with this event is the fact that you have no idea about the standings. I realize this is pretty hard to do something about, but I don't fell very motivated to build decks for this since I have no idea how well I fare against the other player.
If there was some kind of standings list I would be more motivated since you can see how well you must play to climb in ranks. Even if only the winner gets a price it can still be fun to fight for the other places too, but right now I don't even know if it's worth to fight.

I'm still gonna finish the event of course, but this combined with the fact that it's very troublesome to sell and get new cards (and get your card database right) is doing that it doesn't feel as fun as it did in the beginning.

Shrink had been working on standings, but then he disappeared... so, we'll have to do a final tally at the end.

You can get a rough idea based on the amount of  :electrum people spend each round in the buy/sell thread, although you do not know the worth of the card-set they kept, it is still an indicator.

And based on that I am in pretty bad shape...  :-[

In future R2R events, I'd like to suggest the removal of mark cards. Last round I got a foil mark. This round I got TWO marks. That's a total of 600 extra  :electrum in two rounds.

Fortunately I don't think I'm close to winning (though I'd know for sure if there were standings, as mentioned just now), but if I were, that incredible RNG could push me to the top of the leaderboard. For a PvP event, that sure seems unsportsmanlike.

TL;DR: Next Rags to Riches Events = Less RNG, Moar PvP!
