This.

And soon I will have a much more cleaned up version that will make deck checking a breeze. Right now, it's pretty hard and takes me awhile to check decks.

It seems to me, that there is a lot of burden on Shrink to do all this administration. In War we each team had a google doc where they had to maintain their own vault, and the warmaters only had to verify to see if no error/mistake was made.

Couldn't that system be used here to reduce the workload on Shrink ?

Possibly...but that takes a fair bit of time to create. It probably would not be practical to start using in the middle of an event like this.

it's still a far away thought, but will we get to sell AFTER we play round #10 to get all the money from our cards?

I kind of assumed that once all rounds were completed, our collection's value + any leftover unspent  :electrum would be totaled up and = the basis for final rankings.

Gold packs seriously suck! They need to either be cheaper (around 130) or increase the chance of containing an ultra rare.

As it stands now,it's really pointless to get them,at least in rounds 1-5.Maybe later, when you have all the commons and uncommons you need, they become usefull, but still you can just buy bronze or pillar packs and increase your electrum ( bronze buys for 30 and sells for 39-41 ). Let alone the fact that buying more cheaper packs, like bronze instead of few expensive ones, gives you biggest chance to get a hidden rare (assuming of course that all types of packs have the same chance to contain a hidden rare).

If the price stays the same,I suggest decreasing the sell value of ultra rares to 50 and make gold packs contain 1 ultra rare.

Already had this discussion with shrink last week. ATM, doesn't appear that any changes will occur.

But yeah, it's frustrating that i could easily go through the event undefeated and still lose because someone received foil mark cards and I didn't. Personally, I think more emphasis needs to be placed on pvp, which can be done in multiple ways (I'm too lazy to make suggestions ATM).

Am I doing it wrong or is it damn hard to sort what was sold last round, what is needed and what is for sale?
If there is no simple way around it, is it too late to implememt a card sorting application?

It's really annoying.  Probably the worst part of this event.  I really like the event otherwise, but as we buy more and more cards this becomes more and more of an issue.

why do you think I sell all of my cards every round? :P
My solution thus far: Round starts. Open new window, open trainer. Give self infinite money. Buy all the cards in collection. Leave window up forever to keep track of cards. Round ends. Sell all cards that I don't need. The ones that I do, copy and paste deck codes into word doc. Close window.

I save all the cards I own in a "Rags to Riches" category here: http://elementscommunity.org/tools/mydecks/
When I sell decks, I just open the deck(s) in trainer and remove the cards I sold, then edit the deck on the site.
When I get new cards I just add a new deck in the category.

It works so far, but it gets a bit hard to get an overview since it's several decks of cards, and the cards are only sorted in their own decks.

This event would definetely benefit from a specifically made web app/program to keep track of all the cards, easily sortable and searchable.
Try Fragments, my card game!
