Starter packs contain the element that was chosen, every other pack contains cards from all elements.

The other rarities are on there now.

There is no rule for PvP Events needing 30 posts, so you can join if you want. Getting money to buy random cards doesn't take too long.

Thanks for the nod off there, I didn't know that, but I still will sit this one out. I feel like a less complex setting may be better for me to integrate in to. Possibly a basic tournament with a few restrictions.

It's definitely possible to argue Fire Bolt is fire's best card.

Question. If I receive card X in one of my starter packs, am I only allowed to use 1 copy of that card in my decks, or do I have 6 copies of any card received? I assume the latter, but just want to make sure.

The former. Just think of it like you were buying packs in RL. You only receive one copy of the card and have to buy more packs to obtain more.

What do you mean by : battle an NPC ?

Play against standard AI3 / half-blood / False god or some Arena decks ?

Or maybe some decks defined by the organizers that we need to play against AI using the trainer ?

There will be people who play as NPCs, their decks are pretty weak, so players shouldn't have too much trouble defeating them.
