Game 1: LOSS. I picked a deck that is both strong and unusual for my style, predicting calin would pick one that fits his style. He didn't, and his quanta draw was perfect, whereas mine was low. And that was very bad in that matchup. This one was in his favour, probably 2/3 or more his odds.
Game 2: LOSS. He got epic rng, and I got 10/12 quanta in the top half of my deck. With even a mediocre draw I'd have won this one.
Game 3: LOSS. My overpillared deck failed to provide, and he had a pretty good counter anyway.
Game 4: LOSS. I perfectly predicted him with a hard counter, but I drew so much quanta that I had no chance. I had 75 earth quanta by about turn 8-9, but none of my 6 stoneskins... very sad. Though admittedly, when you don't draw any spells, quanta piles up pretty quickly...
I'm not at all happy about how this match turned out. Calin drew everything perfectly, with the exception of game 4, where he was a bit slow... but it didn't matter when he was facing a giant stack of pillars. Games 1 and 4 my draws were so bad that I doubt Calin even knows for sure what I was playing.
edit: we compared our deck codes, and games 2 and 4 look in my favour, whereas games 1 and 3 look in Calin's favour. Calin thinks he had the advantage in game 4, but I don't see it at all, especially as how it played out, a single stoneskin for me would've basically ended it.
