Wow was I lazy - looks like I built 5 decks and that's all I played

3-2 vs Calindu
Spoiler for Match Report:
Game #1: Mono Earth vs RoL/Hope
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sm 4sm 4sm 4sm 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 590 590 590 590 595 595 595 595 77a 77a 77a 77a 77g 77g 77j 77j 77j 77j 8ps

Surprisingly close game, he top decked a light nymph a turn or two before the end and the healing made all the difference.

Game #2: Mono Air vs Classic Speed Poison
Spoiler for Deck:

Bone Wall sure doesn't do much to stop UG - as far as I remember the game wasn't close

Game #3: Dark Waters vs Mono Earth Rush
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5up 5up 5us 5v1 7gp 7gp 7gp 7tb 7tb 7tc 7tc 7tc 7tc 7tc 8pt

Permafrost Shield and Vampire Dagger Break Rushes into tiny pieces, add CC from Drain Life and Calin didn't have much of a chance.

Game #4: Mono Time Rush vs AM Nymph and Diss Shield
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4ss 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5ro 5ro 5ru 5ru 5ru 5ru 5ru 5ru 5s4 5s4 5s4 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q5 7q5 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 8ps

Made a couple of mistakes here - I started by changing my intial plan and swapping the last two decks - oops!. My rush was seriously blunted by AM and to add to that I had a pretty crappy draw. I quit this game very early, something like turn 4 - in retrospect I shouldn't have done so, drawing Eternity may have given me a means of winning the matchup - however slight that chance might have been. Solidly counter-decked in this one.

Game #5: PandeBonium vs Dark/Air Deck
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sk 4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52o 52o 542 542 542 542 542 718 718 718 718 71a 71a 71b 71b 71b 71b 8pj

My notes unfortunately don't say what happened this game - only that I drew a lone Bone Wall and had some luck to give me the win.

3-0 vs Speilkind
Spoiler for Match Report:
Game #1: Mono Earth vs Mono-Air
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sm 4sm 4sm 4sm 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 590 590 590 590 595 595 595 595 77a 77a 77a 77a 77g 77g 77j 77j 77j 77j 8ps

Game was over with my opening hand pretty much - I EQ'd everything and ran him over with a few creatures.

Game #2: Mono Air vs Mono Entropy
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sr 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5og 5og 5ol 5ol 5on 5on 5on 5on 5p0 5p0 5p0 5p0 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mu 7mu 7mu 7mu 8po

Again Blue Nymphs laugh at soft CC - AntiMatter and Diss Shield do almost nothing to stop my win condition.

Game #3: Dark Waters vs Ghostmare
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5up 5up 5us 5v1 7gp 7gp 7gp 7tb 7tb 7tc 7tc 7tc 7tc 7tc 8pt

Slow start for him - I dropped an early squid and drained his first couple ghosts. I eventually dropped a Nymph's Tears to start the damage engine, then waited for him to waste his steals before playing Permafrost and Vamp Dagger - not much he could do at that point, his lone Eternity was in the final 3-4 cards of his deck.

1-3 vs dragondemesne
Spoiler for Match Report:
Game #1: Mono Earth Mirror Match
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sm 4sm 4sm 4sm 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 590 590 590 590 595 595 595 595 77a 77a 77a 77a 77g 77g 77j 77j 77j 77j 8ps

I got EQ'd but between my deck running a pillar/mark split and getting a great qunta draw it hardly slowed me at all, I BB'd a pile of his creatures and coasted to a win.

Game #2: Mono Air vs Water/Air Domin Deck
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sr 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5og 5og 5ol 5ol 5on 5on 5on 5on 5p0 5p0 5p0 5p0 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mu 7mu 7mu 7mu 8po

He dropped an EE on turn 2 or 3 and unfortunately my quanta draw was almost entirely Damsels, that left me unable to get my deck going and in the end cost me the game.

Game #3: Dark Waters vs PandeBonium
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5up 5up 5us 5v1 7gp 7gp 7gp 7tb 7tb 7tc 7tc 7tc 7tc 7tc 8pt

He got a crappy quanta draw but I couldn't find an NT until fairly late - under most circumstances Pande slows but doesn't shut down an NT deck like this but, once he got the Bone Wall up he dropped 3 Pande, lucky for me it didn't kill a single nymph, unlucky for me it lobo'd or froze every single one of them. I didn't draw a 2nd Nymph's tears until 5 or so turns later and at that point it was far too late for me to recover. I tried to save up for a big Drain Life at the end to keep my alive but the endless stream of Bone Walls and not enough creatures to tear them down doomed me.

Game #4: Mono Time vs Mono Dark
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4ss 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5ro 5ro 5ru 5ru 5ru 5ru 5ru 5ru 5s4 5s4 5s4 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q5 7q5 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 8ps

He had 3 Vampires in his opening hand - not much I could do about this one - his deck is a solid counter and he got just about a perfect draw.
Note: After a half hour break - with me spent overanalyzing our remaining elements I played an illegal deck, dragond graciously offered me a replay - I'm not sure I would have had the courage to do the same, but your example of sportsmanship inspires me. He still schooled me in the replay and didn't even need to change his deck.

3-1 vs kev
Spoiler for Match Report:
Game #1: Mono Earth vs Stone Skin Stall
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sm 4sm 4sm 4sm 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 590 590 590 590 595 595 595 595 77a 77a 77a 77a 77g 77g 77j 77j 77j 77j 8ps

He started with an awesome pillar draw - I started by EQing all of them - not much he could do to stop my damage at that point.

Game #2: Mono Air vs Bone Air
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sr 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5og 5og 5ol 5ol 5on 5on 5on 5on 5p0 5p0 5p0 5p0 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mu 7mu 7mu 7mu 8po

I know kev likes Arsenic over OE - so I happily played my nymphs alone - when he dropped OE I cried and hoped to draw one more nymph ASAP - it didn't happen he killed all my things while hiding behind a BW

Game #3: Dark Waters vs Deja-vu Hope
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ig 5ig 5ig 5ig 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5up 5up 5us 5v1 7gp 7gp 7gp 7tb 7tb 7tc 7tc 7tc 7tc 7tc 8pt

This could have surprised me - but kev and I joke about playing wild Hope decks so often I was half ways expecting one - I only won because I knew I needed to Drain his Vu's as soon as they hit the table - that said I'm not sure he ever drew the combo

Game #3: Chaos Scorpions vs Diss Shield Stall
Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]

Eternity wins! Its sort of tough for AM and a Shield to beat a Dune Scorp Deck. Eternity is just Golden icing on the cake.

He got a very fast Eternity, and my trident did nothing against his overpillared draw, so I had to wait to get 2 Nymphs in the same time, lucky enough, I had some quanta by that and could simply spam along my nymphs despite his Eternity, late dune helped.

He pushed a pretty hard attack, but my early squids and shield were able to hold off the majority of his damage. Sanctuaries and a miracle took care of the rest for a clean deck out.

I hate adrenastaves. It's draw-dependent, boring to use, and annoying to play against. But it's a damn strong deck, so I'm not going to look over it. I was honestly very worried throughout the whole match. I didn't get my first stave until I was almost dead, and my second stave came only when I was down to 20 health and poison was stacking up on me. If I had lost this, I would have been pretty poorly off with just two of the weaker Elements against paper's 5 Elements. But my luck managed to pick itself up, I got my combo going, and I survived to get the kill.

It's not every day that you get to use 6 marks in 5 games and still have 6 left over. Even though I lost, these were solid games.

I think I was successful in my goal, except that he used something I totally did not see coming. Even then, it was extremely close. But he took the win with just barely enough damage and little health to spare.
