Decks and match reports posted

Serprex, please note that the deck I sent you for my final match was incorrect, there are a couple cards different in the actual deck played, though considering I lost with the deck I'm sure it hardly matters.

All match reports up. Glad I could fill out the last spot for you guys.

Rushtler is 6-2 in events so far.
Aether domin is 7-2.

Busted out laughing several times reading my old match reports, especially 12 Lives. What a fun event.

Spoiler for Side note about 12 Lives:
Meant to do this after that event ended, but forgot about it until just now. Adrenastaves went 5-10 in that event. Other Life decks (not counting splashes or decks that just use Mito) went 12-9. (8-2 by me, counting my forfeit as a loss, 1-0 by Mobian, 3-4 by math, 0-1 by Wyand, DANI, and dd)

Spoiler for worldwideweb3:

G1: 0-1 vs Rainbow Stall

Lost the coin toss and only drew one pend in the opening hand, which allowed web to play a Sanctuary before I could BH him. The whole game pretty much came down to this point. Discord could have saved me but scrambled up Light quanta for web instead of taking it away.

G2: 0-2 vs Firestall

Rain of Fire is an excellent card against Gargoyles, plenty of other CC left over for Dragons. Hardcounter.

G3: 0-3 Loss vs Devtal

Won the toss in the mirror match, but my 2 ppm draw vs 5 from web left me far, far behind. I do think his build is slightly better in the mirror match, though.

G4: 1-3 Win vs Firefly Blue Nymphs

RT on Blue Nymphs slowed web down a ton - each time he loses a couple of turns and a draw. I had an early Hourglass + Turtle, which left me with plenty of RT to draw into Eternity and eventually lock him out of the game. Slow death by Pharaoh.

Not drawing a second Nymph meant that I took a huge beating from the two Nymphs web played out. Dagger and Nightmare helped, but Bonewall slowed me enough for web to win fairly comfortably.

I had a decent start with the only Dagger in the opening hand. No Gargoyles meant I was forced to play a Dragon early which promptly ate a Bolt, but I drew into plenty of Gargoyles and a one Pend, one pillar start for IF plus Nightmare meant his Devs were really slow to develop.

G2: 2-0 Win vs EA Dims

IF played a Dragon instead of saving quanta to chain Dims, which let me sneak the win in a pretty unwinnable match up. Match fatigue is a killer, he had just played against JCJ before playing me.

DBH is not a good deck when you don't draw Discord. Was gifted a win here in a match up I probably shouldn't have won.

Ended up being a very close game. Early Lobo from me forced a somewhat early Dial chain from IF, but me not drawing Hope meant his Dagger kept him plenty healthy enough to end up winning by a turn. Had he bottom decked a Dial I'd have won it. Yes, this isn't the right number of upgrades.

A poor draw on my end, with no Daggers, Nightmare or Steal for his early Fahren. Tons of creatures though meant I was able to push through his Bolts and topdecking a Dragon at the right time meant I was able to win by a turn.

Won toss, reasonably draw for both sides. Turns out Psiontal is just really slow, though. Bolted his first Nymph but it wasn't enough to hold back the tide. Ended up losing by a turn.

Nightmared a Gargoyle early on just for some draw denial, ended up getting killed by those two Gargoyles plus a third from PU. Serious quanta flood for me here led to a slow draw for me and a comfortable win for JCJ.

A hand full of Immo was less than ideal, but 3 Damsel starts are never bad and thankfully there was no Dry Spell from JCJ this game. Ended up in a close situation where JCJ was forced to choose between playing a Nightmare or a Steal - he chose Nightmare, but I caught him off guard by playing an Immo + Nymph + Gas with 10 Air quanta to begin with. This made me a turn faster than he expected and was enough to win by a turn.

A decent start for us both. I had an early SoFo for the Dagger and a GPull to make a meat shield with it, but JCJ drew a lot of fast damage and I ended up quanta flooding hard. Only one GPull meant he had an easy time building enough of a board to push past my SoFo, and Nightmare on a near empty hand sealed the deal for him.

Spoiler for vs d2d:

g1 0-1 vs The Deck

Haven't quite understood the :rainbow rules (you don't lose those elements played in a bow...), got surprised by a :rainbow deck in g1.
Almost was able to break the stall, but as usual against a stall in the last moment d2d stopped me (cc and miracle), and I wasn't able to get back my
dmg output. Had to steal a sanct then a pulvy, didn't have another steal for the EE...

g2 0-2 vs Dev Mito

Mirror... We both had good quanta so he had the advantage when drew a Vamp and mito'd it (+eclipse). My Bond wasn't enough. On top of it in the
penultimate turn his devs reduced my 6 life quanta to 4 thus denying me playing another Bond. Too bad, because I think that would have
reversed this game.

"Go with the 1st idea" part 2. Or it is almost 2AM... Thought fishies are funny. He had 5/5 CP on scorp and 5/4 on Nymph... I had a very late
Squid... (Omg, looking at his deck... 4 cps, 4 scorps, 3 rts, 3 nymphs while drawing all early... he sorta had perfect hand with perfect CPs.)
Icing on the cake that the deck is illegal due to not having 6 copies from an unrestricted element. Really was almost asleep.

g2 2-0 vs The Deck variant

Much to my dismay an early Eternity and Sanct arrived - both enched. But he didn't have enough CC in the deck to stop me and he hasn't got
enough quanta to use one of those Miracles. I feel like he expected another stall here. A panda could have ruined everything, but without
that my Ghosts pounded him badly. Some luck was needed for this win...

g4 4-0 vs Immogolems

Having no creatures until T4 made me worry, but Duck shield kept me in the race. Still not enough critters (only another lycan in T6), but
Duck was cool and with vagger protected and nurtured me nicely. Duck was 62% and blocked golem attacks as well, which was crucial.
Having 25 hp left things looked somber again since had only 2 lycans on the field, and next turn he had another 2 grabbies to evolve
which would have meant 60 dmg / turn. Game over - unless some crazy Dusk shenanigans happens. But something other stuff happened:
a Dragon.
