Earth Rush vs. Pestal
5 quanta start for me ... but my only creature in hand was a nymph ... and my only creature in the next 4 cards was a 2nd nymph ... even with a Vagger in play that was not going to be enough damage before the lock to get the win. I eventually added a golem to my damage and got close, but he topdecked fractals well and got just enough vampires in play to keep him alive.

Adrena Psiontal vs. Water Sanc Stall
Solid start for me ... horrid start for JCJ a lone pend ... and he never topdecked any further quanta ... while flooding slowed me down a little ... he topdecked a Mirror Shield the turn before I won to win the game. At that point even if I'd had alternate damage in the deck it would not have mattered I had 4 psiopns and 2 with Adrenaline in play, they were going to kill me sooner rather than later
