Afdarenty 5-4 deuce22
Very sorry this took so long to be played.
Fun match as always, deuce. RNG played a pretty important role in these games, particularly the final two.

Ended up going into this one with the wrong mark, quite possibly lost me the game. I was very slow to Fractal RoL, and never even had the chance to Fractal on a Nymph or the Psion thanks to Trident. With faster Aether quanta I might have been able to apply enough pressure to punch through the Squid - as it was, Ice Shield in the mid game sealed the win for deuce.

Lost toss, with a one (unupgraded) pendulum start. Not the way to go about winning a mirror match. Worth mentioning that the version of this deck deuce played probably has a slight edge over mine.

Decided on this deck now solely because I thought it would be progressively harder to win with Life as time went on. 14 creatures meant I had enough to fight through all the Firebolts, just. Would have been a scary game if deuce drew Fahrenheit.

Really slow draw for me - no cards that dealt damage in my top 8. I drew into stuff, but not quickly enough. I'd have needed quite a fast draw to win it, though, or to win the cointoss - ideally both.

I drew a lot of Crawlers early, forcing deuce to double plague. After that, I played a Queen and used her to get four more. These five, plus the threat of another five if needed, was a little too much damage for deuce to hold off.

I was extremely unsure about which deck to bring here. Settled on this, because it has at least a chance vs most of what deuce could bring.
A pretty bad draw for deuce - he started well, with triple Psion, but he didn't have double Bolt in time for my first Dragon (after which I nightmared twice to make sure he didn't draw one) and he was missing Fractal too. I had quite a slow draw, with only three Towers and no Damsels to start, but Nightmare allowed me to recover and eventually win.

Though deuce had a good start, mine was monstrous - by the end of turn 3 I had a Crimson Dragon, two Phoenix and a Destroyer out. I won the cointoss too - it was enough to win by a couple of turns despite a 7 card nightmare from deuce.

Though this is a good match up for me, I had a horrible draw with no Devs in the top 18 cards. Ended up trying to win with the Vamps instead, though 4 Antimatter slowed me down significantly. Double Bolt on his first Dragon bought a lot of time, though, and I had yet to play Eclipse - after the +2 attack buff his Antimatters would have been much weaker. With 12 cards left my computer completely froze - deuce played it out against the AI and won a few turns later.
Entirely my fault, of course - I should have known better than to try and play Aether again vs deuce

Huge indecision when it came to choosing this deck. I wanted to play Catatitan Dials, but I'd never played the deck before and didn't quite trust it enough to bring it here. Ended up rolling the dice with another Immo deck.
An opening hand without any Phoenix looked worrying, but I drew one turn two for a fast Seraph/Destroyer/Gavel. I blew up the first Dim Shield, then faced a very difficult decision when deuce played a second - use my second Explosion and hope deuce doesn't have a third Dim, or wait to draw the 8 damage needed to win in a single attack. I opted for the second, and drew what I needed soon after.
