PvP World Championship 2017 - FINALS

Welp, I haven't been active much for the past couple of months either, but if this is what the admins have decided, I'll try to prepare and get the match done by 1st. It would suck if neither of the WC finals got played.

Considering kaempfer's farewell, and his lack of response to PMs, we have decided to remove him from the event.

However, we do not want to give a free win the TheOnlyRealBeef, and therefore, Have decided on this :

We give until April 1st for deuce and phoenix to play their match, and the winner will get to play against TorB for the final.

Wouldn't this be unfair for Torb though? I mean, his opponent has "forfeited" the game, he deserves the free win...

Tbh I don’t think torb would mind playing deuce/Phoenix, as long as he’s free ofcourse

It is what it is. Though if both of them get a shot at finals after losing, does that mean finals happen twice if I lose the first, too?

I kind of stopped caring getting the match done about a month ago and then three days ago 'that' happened... so whomever faces me won't face as much a challenge as I was up 'till now. I'll definitely make time for whatever match I'm expected to play, though.

And if they dont play till 1st of april, TorB wins? Or the one active wins? Cause here its active was TorB so with kae going he was more active, deserving the win. Just in the case, it will happen...

At this point I'd just give the win to torb,personally. You guys have had months to play now. But I'll leave this decision to PvPOs.

I think rules are supposed to be enforced. Kaempfer made it to the finals, just like TORB. If Kaempfer doesn't want to play, TORB should win.
In hindsight this would have been the best for the tournament. You dont want a 2017 tournament finishing in april of 2018....or in 2019.

A new deadline was set to find a replacement for Kaempfer. The deadline was not met. This means Kaempfer has never been replaced, so TORB just wins.

Rule = rule is a great way to run an event. What does a deadline mean is people are just given more time?
If Deuce and Phoenix would play now they still haven't followed the rules. The deadline was not met, so TORB should just claim a win.
You could also assign a winner of the match Phoenix vs Deuce based on activity. It would just mean the finals get delayed even more.

I recommend just ending this event ASAP.
