World Championship 2017 - FINALS



RULES

Each player must send in one additional element for their opponent to use by pm to ji412jo and mathman101. Failing to do so will result in the element being randomized. This will total 9 elements for each player.
You cannot use the same element more than twice in a match.
You cannot use the same combination of elements more than once in a match. (monos included)
For every mono played, you must play a trio before playing a mono again.
If you use an element there must be at least 6 non-Pillar/Pendulum cards included in the deck.
Other elements' Pillars, Pendulums, and Marks may be used. (Using a 'quanta card' doesn't count as using the element.)
You may use up to 5x upgraded cards, where 'x' is the game of the match you are on. (game 1 = 5 ups, game 2 = 10 ups....)
Limit 20 Ultra rare cards per match.
You must declare your used elements after each game.
Best-of-9.

The extra element has been posted for both the 1st place match and the 3rd place match. Those that failed to send an element in to both organizers, had their element randomized.

TorB can use Death + the listed 8 for his matchup
phoenix can use Time + the listed 8 for his matchup
deuce can use Entropy + the listed 8 for his matchup

If you need more time, please let us know and I'm sure we can organize a small extension as long as it is not multiple months extra needed.

I'm really sorry. I delayed our match a couple times already and we scheduled it for in 1 and half hours, but I just dont know if I can handle it. I got 2 exams this week, screwed up my preparation for both of those and WC alike and feel rather sickly today. In fact, I feel like going straight to bed and oversleep the scheduled time completely and there is a good chance that actually happens. 9 important games against a good opponent with very restrictive deckbuilding rules in the last 2 games seems to overwhelming to me right now. In the face of all that I probably wont play today. There is a mediocre chance I can play next weekend, after that I am highly tentative for over a month (which may affect my activity as TO as well).
Even though I had been pretty competitive about this until now -and this is the finals we are talking about!- I'm kinda fine with conceding should we not have arranged the match until next weekend.

WC is a huge deal and the only person waiting is your opponent. I think you should have as long as you need within reason when it gets to the final tbh

Me and Jijo discussed and we both have no problem with a reasonable extension, our main goal is to not let the finals run to September or October like the last finals.

Would mid March, or end of March be enough of an extension?

I'll change the timer in OP to mid March, but if you need more time I can change it to end of March.

Past week and this week I had plenty of availability like I mentioned to kaempfer then, but I will be almost completely inactive unless poked by a pm or something from here on out. So I'll be waiting for just that with the details of a possible date and time that the match can be held: me not coming online otherwise will not be an indicator of inactivity, there's just no point in being around for it if kaempfer does not have the time to play the match regardless.

However, we do not want to give a free win the TheOnlyRealBeef, and therefore, Have decided on this :

We give until April 1st for deuce and phoenix to play their match, and the winner will get to play against TorB for the final.
