Oh, decks and stuff! I completely forgot. Everything below was written immediately after the match, so should be pretty accurate.
Afdarenty 4-3 JonathanCrazyJ
Quite a match, this one - the most nervous I've been in a PVP match in a long time. Thanks again for your patience during this, and good luck in your final match!

Early Titanium Shield dashed the slim hope I had of winning this match up. Simply far, far too much healing.

This was a mad game. Only a one pillar draw for JCJ meant he was quite slow. I, on the other hand, hand a three pillar draw into Druidic Stave. No RoL, though... and I didn't draw one for another four or five turns. Eventually I get the Mito engine rolling, but JCJ is dealing a good amount of damage now with multiple creatures out and several Poison, though thankfully no Arsenic. I play my Heal to buy an extra turn, and then an Empathic Bond, but I'm still losing health each turn. I never actually draw Hope, but with a second Bond and a Nymph out I manage to heal just enough to scrape by, and eventually win with RoL damage.

No Gavel for me against an early Quake plus Eternity left me in a tough spot. Diamond Shield was blocking a ton of his damage, though, and I had BB to stop his Shriekers, so I had plenty of time to set something up. I saw a chance to turn the game around when I had two Nymphs and a Golem in hand - he could only rewind one Nymph a turn, and I could use the other to lock down the board. So, I play all my creatures... or try to. Only had the quanta for the Golem and one Nymph, the Nymph is rewound, and I'm left in a terrible position. Whoops.
On the bright side, neither Gavel was in my top 19 cards so think I'd have lost anyway. Though I do wonder. Now that I think about it, I'm not even certain Other cards are legal - I don't think it's in the rules. Ah well, the deck lost anyway.

The healing kept me well away from the Danger zone, and the freezes were very effective against his creatures. Just a good match up here.

Drew two Eternity in my starting hand - one to play, and one for luck - which meant I could stop his damage from ramping with Shard of Patience. Eventually I drew into the Anubis + SoR combo, made all my creatures untargettable, and outraced him from there.

A weird draw for me here - 10 of my top 13 cards were Pillars/Towers. I started out well, but I just couldn't get through his Bonewalls and race an early Arsenic with only three creatures.

A good match up - 14 CC cards against 6 Creatures meant that I could kill everything I saw on sight.
