Spoiler for 3-0 Vs Cheesy111:

Cheesy omits: :earth

Exceptional draw for me, turn 2 Disco + EQ meant that I don't actually know what deck Cheesy was playing.

Poor quanta draw for Cheesy and a turn 2 Pulvy for me kept his deck at bay, my BB's and eventually my nymph shut down his damage long enough to squeak out a win. but it was a very close game.

Included multiple copies of Reflective because I figured Psiontal was a strong possibility - I drew one in my opening hand and with the amount of other CC I had it was an easy win.

Spoiler for 2-3 vs Calindu:
Jen omits: :earth
Cal omits: :entropy

Expected some sort of Aggro deck from Cal - so ran a fat stall and countered his deck beautifully.

Game #2 - Win

I decided not to fear Dims this round - Cal would save aether as a failsafe for later. I swapped in Angels for a faster win condition and was met with a mono light Hope deck. Hope had the potential to cause me problems due to my lower attack. However my hand was solid and my damage came out fast enough that he didn't have time to build hope large enough to shut me down.

Game #3 - Loss

The original plan here had been to run Deja-Hope, but I chickened out at the last second thinking that 3 stalls in a row was too predictable. Which is too bad, it would have been a very easy win. Instead I had to try and rush Immortal with a pseudo-control deck. I think I had a chance, however I only drew 1 quanta in my opening hand, only 3 quanta in the first 15 cards, so while I had the creatures to play I was no where near fast enough to get the win. I badly needed early pressure or a set of epic top deck fails by Cheesy to win this.

Game #4 - Loss

Looking at his remaining elements I was virtually certain he was running ghostal here. I made a poor deck choice - mistakenly thinking that Hope shuts down his offense entirely. Forgetting of course how badly Eternity destroys my deck. He dropped an early Eternity and kicked my face in. I should have of course run Psiontal here, which would have beaten Ghostal easily and given me a mirror match against his remaining mono-Aether deck.

Game #5 - Loss

Well there's no way he's going to rush me - he's going to play some sort of control or stall deck and we'll dance around trying to find answers to each others cards. I'm going to skip that whole game and Mindgate him!!!!! Well that didn't happen, he came out of the gate hard with quanta and creatures flew rapidly out of his hand and I was dead very very quickly. Three poor deck choices in a row turn this match around completely.

Spoiler for 0 - 3 vs trashduke:

Deja-Hope countered me very badly.

I know the deck looks underquanta'd - but I've tested roughly 50 games with similar decks and have been astounded at the number of times that it launches on time. However 1 pend in the opening hand and none for then next 4 turns left me in such a huge hole that I had no way to recover. I suppose it's what I get for trying to shoehorn Disco into the deck against my better judgement.

I accidentally deleted my notes from this match. All I remember was I needed to top deck a second Miracle in somewhere in the first 15-18 cards for me to stall long enough to get the win, but being unable to top deck one for the life of me.

Spoiler for 3-0 vs theelkspeaks:

I expected some sort of Aggro deck from elkie and played a counter to it. It had worked so well for trashduke in my last match I wanted to give it a try here. Worked like a charm, though without those Sundials I would have been in serious trouble.

I realized as soon as I clicked search that I was a fool. I speed built this version at the last second and forgot to include Recluses, which left me very very vulnerable to Reflective Shields. I got away with it however because elkie either didn't draw any or never included them in the deck. Without reflectives and off a solid quanta draw my Dims would make this an easy win.

Game #3 - Win

Deny, deny, deny! I feared Disco this game - but I can't run a counter all the time, just have to trust that I have enough quanta to overcome one eventually. We desynched early, but he had all his eggs in one basket with a giant CP'd golem and I had a BB in hand so it made for a pretty easy game on my end.

Built this at the last second to counter an expected DisQuake deck from Cheesy. RNG messed with me badly getting virtually no damage other that Disco in the first 15 cards and no grabbies in the first 18 cards, it made for a much tenser game than it would otherwise have been. Getting an early Warden and a CP for it certainly helped slow him down. As did getting an early Pulvy, he was forced to wait until he could draw his second before playing it. As it was I almost managed to destroy the second, drew my 4th nova the turn after my Pulvy was destroyed.

Psiontal vs RoL-Hope, we both got an early lobo, so while eventually his Hope might block my Psions, my lobo made sure that it stayed very small in the meantime. I don't think he drew fractal at all this game - though it would hardly have mattered unless he were also running Miracle, I had an early fractal in hand and could have pushed out enough damage each turn to still get the kill

I was pretty sure he'd bring a grabby rush, so I tried to put in more creature stall, but it was a long game and by the end I think he had 10 or 11 shriekers that finally broke through.  Thinking about this, a few blessings would have been nice on the wardens to get rid of some of those shriekers... but I'm not sure if it would have been fast enough in any case.

Important to note that I didn't realize other cards were banned, so one match result that was initially reported as Cheesy111 3 - 2 trashduke should actually be trashduke 3 - 2 Cheesy111.  Illegal decks were also used in game 5 vs theelkspeaks and game 4 vs trashduke, but those games were lost anyways so I don't believe it changes anything.  Illegal decks that were caught as or right after we were playing and are reflected in match results are in game 4 against theelkspeaks(had already used entropy twice) and game 3 against Calindu.

If game 3 was illegal, then the elements from that game wouldn't be counted as used.
