Jen-i used NT/trident/BB, and my low quanta requirements and relative immunity to BBs, plus my lucky early fog was enough, despite the fact that 4 of the flying weapons were in the bottom 7 cards and never drawn. I predicted either UG monoair, monoearth graboid/EQ, or nymph's tears, and built this to counter all of those, while still having a decent chance against other decks.

He won cointoss and got a perfect hand. I got my pillars earthquaked and lost bad. Jen-I had the advantage in this matchup, plus good RNG. I absolutely failed at predicting Jen-i's deck; in fact, I was expecting literally anything EXCEPT this. I did not think Jen-i would spend his 2nd and last use of earth in game 2.

He won cointoss and had good start; I had a low quanta draw. I think I ended up losing by 1 turn. I remember thinking I had a better chance when I actually played this game, because I'd had a subpar draw, but looking at Jen-i's deck now, I think he'd have won more often than not. I was heavily predicting an air deck, which is why I had both mirror shields (to counter UG) and Archangels. (to counter owl's eye sniping my stuff; they'd just heal themselves) I think jen-i's deck is wrong, though; I am almost positive he was using unupped graviton mercenary. I remember being baffled at it when the first one was played, until I realized it was in the 3 attack sweet spot for adrenaline. In any event, that or something very like it is what Jen-i used for sure; I'm just not convinced those were the upgrades he actually used against me.

I completely nailed this prediction, expecting some sort of light/X stall, probably water. About time, considering how badly I mispredicted games 2 and 3. Early EQ/pulvy sealed it. Jen-i had to spend bolts on freezing my pulvy, and with <10 quanta, only 2/4 bolts used froze it. 1 miracle was played, but with nothing in play, it was over in another 4 turns. I'd included the gravity shields mostly as a way to use an almost-monoearth again, but looking at Jen-i's elements left, gravity shield was good against a large number of deck choices, as well. I'd been expecting either a water/light stall much like this, or else a UG monoair in game 2 when I used an almost identical deck to this one. If memory serves, Jen-i had zero cards in play when I won.

Crap quanta draw, got 1 water pend 2 light pend to start, and all the water cards. The only light cards I drew all game were 2 mirrors and 1 miracle, and I didn't have the quanta to miracle. Looking at the deck afterwards, I think I designed the quanta base rather poorly. If I'd gotten more (any...) sancs and enough quanta for miracles, I definitely had a chance here, but it was still definitely in Jen-i's favour.
jen-i has air, life, light left -> air, life, light, air/life, air/light, life/light
i have air, gravity, life, water -> air, gravity, life, water, air/gravity, air/water, gravity/life, gravity/water, life/water

I tried to build as universal counter as i could, and this should have beat most decks other than air rush :p (or possibly life rush as well, but I didn't expect that at all) Looking at my elements and Jen-i's, I think that I can build several decks that will counter all but one of Jen-i's decks, with 'that one deck' being different in each case. Because I have life and emerald shield still available, I decide to assume Jen-i won't play air, and pick a deck I think can do well against most other decks. With the SoFos, I'm hoping I can even beat a UG gas deck, but I know it won't be easy. An air rush or life rush were the only decks I could think of in Jen-i's arsenal that this deck lost badly to. I'd been most expecting a light/X stall here, so I was expecting basically the reverse scenario of game 5.
Btw, I still have no idea why Jen-i gave up six upgrades on animate weapon just to have a mark of gravity instead of mark of air. My choice of air mark and flying weapons seemed way better in my mind, but as it turned out, in both cases it made no difference at all which way it was done.
