World Championship - FINALS



RULES
Before each round, every player will choose 6 elements and rank them in order of most preferred and send them in to majofa.
(*NOTE: The finals will have a randomly chosen element, which is: )
The only elements allowed are the 7 (6 for Bronze) elements listed by your match up. (The top 3 listed from each player.)
You cannot use the same element more than twice in a match.
You cannot use the same combination of elements more than once in a match. (monos included)
Other elements' Pillars, Pendulums, Mark Cards, and Marks may be used. (Using a 'quanta card' doesn't count as using the element.)
You may use up to 4x upgraded cards, where 'x' is the game of the match you are on. (game 1 = 4 ups, game 2 = 8 ups....)
For each copy of a Shard you use, you must reduce the amount of upgraded cards in your deck by 3.
Limit 1 of each Mark card per game.
Limit 2 of each Nymph card per game.
You must declare your used elements after each game.
Best-of-7 for the Bronze Match // Best-of-9 for the Finals.

Low Pillar draw, 0 glories, afda's fast start with BBs and using pulvi to destroy all 3 of the solar shields I drew left me useless. 1 Miracle still brought me somewhat close to winning.

Facing some mono Entropy Discord deck, started with 7 pillars (topdecking tears after) but Discord did all it needed to while Afda outrushed me...

So-so draw that got horribly outrushed by afda's extreme draw that had a lot of quanta and managed to use every single bit of it when I died in like 7 turns (using diss shield with like 3 spare quanta buying one turn >_<)

Afda had a perfect quanta draw for that deck and everything else he needed when he needed it leaving like 0-1 cards in hand in the end. Staves got bolted like 1 turn after adren -_-

When all else fails... had a so-so quanta draw with a lack of light quanta, but more Fire was just what I needed as Afda prepared a mono air OHKO in hand.

Afda had perfect hand... again. I might have won if Sofree would have procced even a single time during one of the diving Wyrm or Sky Dragon hits, but nooo... not even a Damsel was procced.

I recorded everything but window that I should press to stop and save was gone when matches ended, crashing with flashing entire screen and wtf... x.x

Heh. Good games, much closer than the scoreline suggests. RNG gifted me with great hands every game (bar game 1), TorB didn't have quite the same luck.

Thanks for organising, Majofa, and everyone else for playing. Had some good times in this event

Was half expecting discquake to start, not sure if RNG let me down or my lack of testing did. Possibly both Started with two pillars which I (foolishly) played, no other quanta. They got quaked, and I had trouble drawing any more. No damsels in half my deck. Discord never even gave me quanta to shockwave something, let alone get an OE going.

I spent the whole game praying for a nymph, TorB spent the whole time praying for a weapon. Neither of us got one  BB and Diamond Shield bought me enough time to win through the lone miracle TorB drew, though. I probably should have swapped a couple pillars to pends in this. Luckily it didn't matter.

Was scared of TorB winning cointoss with a 7 quanta draw and immediately topdecking a tear. Discord trolled hard, though. I drew what I needed pretty much when I needed it and ended up outrushing by a turn.

Two quanta in ten (nine?) cards and no discord was a nasty draw for TorB. Swarmed creatures, won fairly easily. Kept on hitting the quanta sweet spot, finished a lot of turns with 0 quanta spare.

Lances kill staves nice. Great draw for me with early fahren and lots of quanta, and all the dragons I needed.

Very tense game. We both spent the whole timing waiting to get OTK'd, I ended up one dragon short.

5 quanta draw was awesome, and I kept topdecking more. Spammed queens, killed a couple flies with the lone dessication I drew, and managed to hit through fog enough to win by a turn.
