You may use up to 4x upgraded cards, where 'x' is the game of the match you are on. (game 1 = 3 ups, game 2 = 6 ups....) ???

"you cannot choose an element more than 4 times" (in full group or in a single match ?)
because it conflicts with "You cannot use the same element more than twice in a match".

You may use up to 4x upgraded cards, where 'x' is the game of the match you are on. (game 1 = 3 ups, game 2 = 6 ups....) ??? I think that is a mistake. Should be 1=4 ups 2=8 etc I think

"you cannot choose an element more than 4 times" (in full group or in a single match ?)
because it conflicts with "You cannot use the same element more than twice in a match".
I think he mean that you can't choose the same element 4 times this round and you can't use an element more than twice in a game.

It seems I was initially to be the 7th player choosing an element, but due to my delay TorB has chosen the seventh.  Is this right?

Also, I am now back from vacation and back to normal/usual forum/game/'net access.  The timer for this round has ended but that seems incorrect.  Is this round in a temporary stage between choice of elements and beginning of matches?

The initial timer was for choosing elements.. when that ended, TorB was able to choose.

Dragonsdemesne - 3
Treebeard xiii - 1

Great games, tree.  Glad to play you as always.

Game 1: LOSS.  Game basically went like this.  I dumped lots of creatures out, I beat on tree really good, and I kept thinking, I win if he has no shield, I win if he has no shield... He played a shield at 29hp, and I was doomed at that point :p

Game 2: WIN.  He got me down to around 30hp, but I drew a lot of creatures early, and enough CC to keep his creatures at bay.  He got some CC drawn, but not quite enough.

Game 3: WIN.  When I saw his first few turns, I grinned inside at first, thinking I'd countered him.  Then I started worrying as he played a LOT of healing.  I managed an OTK when he wasn't expecting, though, which I suppose is the advantage of playing a rather weird deck; he didn't really know what I was doing until it was too late.  I found out after he had a bad draw and wasn't getting his big hitters, though.

Game 4: WIN.  I hardcountered his deck pretty hard here.  I think I won with 80hp.

Tree had some bad RNG in the third game, and I think mine was slightly below average in game 1 and his was slightly below average in game 2, though I think games 1 and 2 would have played out like they did most of the time, anyway.

rob77dp:  3
dragonsdemesne:  2

Game 1 - win.
Basically, we chose a near-mirror with a key difference that tilted in my favor.  dragons' sub-par-ish draw sealed the deal.

Game 2 - win.
This probably should have been quite close.  However, this time an evil-y low quanta draw bent dragons' deck to its ankles fairly fast.

Game 3 - loss.
Looking back, this is a 95% loss based on deck choices alone.  RNG did no dissappoint.

Game 4 - loss.
48 cards that won't take down a stall loses to a 50-card anything that heals.  I had the 48 card deck.  *sigh

Game 5 - win.
I had one element remaining.  dragons had two elements remaining.  We both suspected we knew the other's move.  I -think- I managed to surprise dragons with my strategy and it paid off on a decent draw for me against a sub-par (big big decks are susceptible more though) draw for dragons meant it was over quicker than either of us would have guessed.  6 TTW for the 1-point plus possible tie-break.

*NOTE:  As he always does, dragonsdemesne exhibited SUPERIOR sportsmanship in the match.  There are many of high sportsmanship in the community and this is no doubt one among the top of them.  Thank you for that. *

dragonsdemesne - 2
rob77dp - 3

Man, those games were tense.  Pretty sure I wasted my game 5 advantage, though...

1) LOSS.  We pick the same mono, but he gets a perfect draw, and I get a terrible one, plus the one card we differ in greatly favours his side.

2a) He accidentally uses an element not in his four selected elements
2b) LOSS.  I get another pretty bad draw, but again, his deck beats mine most of the time, anyway.

3) WIN.  The one card that could've gave him a chance had he drawn enough of them, he only got one of.  I think he said he had 4 of them in the deck.  I'd have won this matchup most of the time.

4) WIN.  I was nervous most of this game that rob might've had OTK capability in his hand, but it turned out he didn't.  I figured he probably wasn't playing the cards he needed to do it, but the possibility existed in his elements, so I was fretting the entire time.  Without that, I think I had the advantage in this one, as well.

5) LOSS.  At this point, while I didn't really like my draws in the first two games, I am unsurprised at which decks came out on top in the first 4 games, and I'm hoping for an epic comeback.  I have two elements to his one, and one of mine is the same as his, so I have a definite advantage.  However, I completely guessed his deck wrong, plus he had an epic draw giving him a 6 TTW, while other than my bonkers quanta draw, I manage to play two cards the entire game.  With a less rushy draw on his end and some actual healing cards on my end, I might've had a chance, but as the cards fell, I felt kind of like ai1 getting bowled over by a speedbow.  I'm actually rather embarrassed that I'm going to have to post the deck I used in this game at some point... :p
