Man, those games were tense. Pretty sure I wasted my game 5 advantage, though...
1) LOSS. We pick the same mono, but he gets a perfect draw, and I get a terrible one, plus the one card we differ in greatly favours his side.
2a) He accidentally uses an element not in his four selected elements
2b) LOSS. I get another pretty bad draw, but again, his deck beats mine most of the time, anyway.
3) WIN. The one card that could've gave him a chance had he drawn enough of them, he only got one of. I think he said he had 4 of them in the deck. I'd have won this matchup most of the time.
4) WIN. I was nervous most of this game that rob might've had OTK capability in his hand, but it turned out he didn't. I figured he probably wasn't playing the cards he needed to do it, but the possibility existed in his elements, so I was fretting the entire time. Without that, I think I had the advantage in this one, as well.
5) LOSS. At this point, while I didn't really like my draws in the first two games, I am unsurprised at which decks came out on top in the first 4 games, and I'm hoping for an epic comeback. I have two elements to his one, and one of mine is the same as his, so I have a definite advantage. However, I completely guessed his deck wrong, plus he had an epic draw giving him a 6 TTW, while other than my bonkers quanta draw, I manage to play two cards the entire game. With a less rushy draw on his end and some actual healing cards on my end, I might've had a chance, but as the cards fell, I felt kind of like ai1 getting bowled over by a speedbow. I'm actually rather embarrassed that I'm going to have to post the deck I used in this game at some point... :p
