"Gladiators" AKA - Weapons and shields only

No creatures.
No Spells.
No Pillars/Pendulums, except Quantum Pillars.
No Shards or non weapon or shield Permanents.
No upgraded cards




Edits may be made to suit TOs needs/wants.

Building on top of this idea and -somewhat- what d2d said, it could be some sort of "Sader" tournament! Only weapons (flying weapon) + Crusader (ban Vamp Stilleto because Vader Sader is unoriginal and no fun).

I like the idea of a flying weapon / shield / crusader tourney, although limiting the card base that much is kinda silly. I'd say ban a few generic stall cards (Miracle or Sanc/Bolts/UG), all other creatures and Antimatter & Reverse Time

At the start of the match/tournament, each player must post the deck image of the decks that he is going to use for the match/tournament, after which no editing of the decks is allowed.

This wouldn't work because people post at different times, so one person posts his decks and then another person is like "OH THAT'S WHAT HE'S USING?" and makes all the counters for it and posts that.

Adding on to this, to make it more doable, perhaps the contestants can only use 'x' amount of decks and they must PM their decks to a TO before the tournament starts.

The players cannot change identity after the first match.
They must not reveal themselves to other players until they battle.
The main cards of other scientists cannot be used.
Shards are not allowed.

On the contrary, I believe Discord should be banned from everyone -- especially Stephen Hawking. Discohole is quite the bitch against any mono or duo.

i like this idea, but what about mitosis, parallel universe, unstable gas, and perhaps others? they could have respective scientists.

i like this idea, but what about mitosis, parallel universe, unstable gas, and perhaps others? they could have respective scientists.

Don't worry about that; just leave it up to the TOs

Broken Space-bar: Only cards with a 1 word name allowed (except pillars and pends)
Useless: 1/3 of your deck must be cards you can't generate quantum for (nova, immolation and quantum pillars banned)
Underdogs: Only 0 attack creatures allowed
Buffer: Only creatures allowed are spark and phase salvager (0 health)
Every Little Helps: Only creatures allowed are photon and chimera (SoPa and Skyblitz banned)
Neutral: Only free cards and cost cards allowed
