Elements PvP Tournament - Your ideas!

The original idea was to play only 1 Nova but that was never a serious suggestion and my recommendation of 6 for consistency went down well in chat.

Tournament Name: Flash Fast


Tournament Rules:

1) No upgraded cards
2) No stalling (Not aloud: Sundial, Phase Shield, Hope, Black Hole, Nightmare)
3) Between 30 and 40 cards
4) Maximum of 12 Pillars/Pendulums
5) Maximum of 5 Spells
6) No Nymphs
7) No Rainbow decks
2) No Trio decks (examples of aloud decks: Fire and Death or Darkness and Life) (examples of not aloud: Darkness, Fire, Death or Darkness, Fire, Death, and Life)  (This rule can be taken off if needed)


Other idea's to the rules that could be added:

1) No shields at all

Your suggestion was titled as a Competition but the format and idea seems much more appropriate for a tournament or PvP Event. My post move messed up on me so I had to quote the post and move it instead. ^^;

Best Tournament Players of *Insert Month* *Insert Year*

Competition Reason (Info)

The reason for this tournament is to see who the best tournament player of the month is out of the Western Tournament and the best player of the month out of the Eastern Tournament. (This is totally up to the winners of the West Tourney and the East Tourney: They battle each other and see who the best player is.)

Competition Rules:

1) Only the winners that won the Western/Eastern Tournaments of that month can attend this.        (4 Fridays and 4 Saturdays = 8 Winners *4 from each Tourney*)
2) The decision of an upgraded battle or un-upgraded battle is up to the players. (If 1 player says that they want it to be unupgraded then it is going to be an unupgraded PvP competition. If that person has at least 30 upgraded cards then it will be an upgraded competition)
3) No rainbow decks
4) Less than 50 cards

Games might take a bit longer, but overall it should be more fun than normal.  Getting knocked out in prelims by a mono aether or grabbix or even a firestall is hardly any fun.

So tourney winners should have their own tourney.  So a previous winner, someone who received a code for a mark/nymph is now given another one, handed one basically.  I do not support your idea.  Also, since each tourney has its own rules, there is never a "best" especially if players used a basic deck to win with, and the game relies too much on luck.

Ooh, I like this. How about "Your deck must include 10 copies of cards from this list in any combination" ?
(In case that doesn't make sense -- someone could have 5/5 or 6/4 of any 2 cards, or 6/2/2 or 6/3/1 or 5/3/2 of any 3, or 3/3/3/1 of any 4, etc., all the way up to 1 each of all 10 if they wanted to)

(Actually, come to think of it, "You must include at least 1 copy of each of these cards" would be pretty interesting!)
