Elements PvP Tournament - Rules

why is that every tournament requires minimum number of post?

I am level 65, have 677 upgraded cards, 15 months of Elements experience, multiple tournament participations, and now 9 forum posts.  I'm loathe to make 21 additional posts that lack the quality a post amongst a community of this size should have, but I suppose I'll have to do just that.

Please consider a secondary qualification for those of us with both the experience with this game and the maturity and reading comprehension required to participate.

To everyone who disagrees: Stop acting like 30 posts is some monumental amount and that it won't be reached for awhile.  There are plenty of easy ways to boost your post count.  Also, think about it from our perspective.  Is it easier to add the post requirement over a large group of people and encourage posting and activity on the forums (which greatly benefits it) or check and verify each and every member with under 30 posts who shows up 5 minutes before?

I just want to state I think the 30 post rule is quite dumb. No offense but I have nothing to say to you people, I just want to participate and kick some ass. That being said, am I supposed to spam useless posts on your threads and make you all dislike me and my irrelevant information?
Ensuring your rules are well placed and easy to follow are a better course of action. I've read them over 4 times now, and I have never participated, and I'll be damned if I am going to waste my time making 30 useless posts just to appease someone else that I have shown interest in their little project.

Hm.. you bring no new uninformed arguments we haven't already answered in previous posts, so I'm not quite sure why you'd post something like that considering your lack of posts in general. Something tells me you don't understand why the rule exists, which makes me wonder why you'd insult us. We're volunteer workers doing our best to avoid exploiters and hackers.

You seem to have misunderstood something else as well. Spam will be removed. We want useful posts on this forum and useful members to be active. If all you have to bring to the table is a bad attitude, I'm quite fine without. Unless you have some useful feedback, consider solely whining posts ripe for removal.

If my words were taken as an insult it was not my intent. I honestly fail to see how making 30 relevant topic posts on a forum shows you are neither a hacker/exploiter or someone else who will generally drop out of tournaments or be a pain in the ass.
Mind you with my zero participation I suppose I am lacking the experience you have all had in dealing with these rules and people involved. I am simply venting my frustration due to wanting to join these tourney's, but my loathe to post on this forum simply to gain entry in what I see to be a pointless rule. I've been playing Elements for over 2 years now, and would love to participate. But as I said before, I will be damned if I am going to post 30 posts just to gain entry and then never post on here again. Pointless.

That's exactly why I'm saying you don't know why the rule is made. It's not rational to criticise something you don't understand.

Actually I see it more as forcing people to participate in something they have zero interest in.

Not logical either. We're not forcing you to post or join tourneys. It's you who wants to join tourneys, and to do so you must abide by the rules laid down by Staff that have struggled with getting them right for a long time, and endured many long nights of hard work fixing shit that (semi-organized) exploiters have messed up. Now that they can't make new accounts on the fly and join, we haven't had a single disruption of that nature since the rule.

Until you know what it's like to host a tourney with cheaters in it, your words are hollow. Or playing in one, for that matter; legit players have been extremely annoyed and frustrated until this fix.

Similarly, you can't just join a PvP Event and not post decks or plan a duel with your opponent because you don't "feel like it".
