Hi! So how does the 'special card' reward work? Are they more special than, say, a normal upgraded rare? Does the winner get to pick one, or is one randomly selected?

Would it be cheating if I use different accounts?

Example:
I have 12 accounts, a mono deck for each element.
First round: Only air, water, darkness, death. I use my Air Account.
Second round: Only fire, water, life, aether. I use my Fire Account.

Would that be allowed?

Also:
Warning system
If a player quits a mid-tournament for any reason, or disrupts the tournament in any way, he will receive a warning. If you get 3 warnings, you will be banned from all PvP tournaments for 3 weeks.

Warnings will expire 1 month after they were issued.

So I can't quit during the tournament? What if I have to leave for dinner? If it is Mid-Game, I can't leave because I know I just lost this round?

I have a question: I won a few coins in a tournament the other day. Do I have to cash the reward using the account with which I won the coins, or am I allowed to use the code in another account?

You can use the code on any account.

Since I answered your question so helpfully you should give your reward code to me.

Wow I just realized my question had already been answered...

Another one: is there a list with all the previous tournament themes?
And if I want to propose a new one, where do I put it?

Cheers!

How long to tournaments last (on average)
then again, i haven't played in one before, so watch me die round 2.
just to be safe, i'm curious about the general logistics (no, im not in marketing)

If you make it to the finals, you should expect the tournament to last anywhere between 2-4 hours.

By the way, in my very first tournament, I beat Puppychow, Antagon, and Demagog and made second place.

EDIT:  800th post.  Ugh... I've been posting too much.

Perhaps this has been answered before, but--any chance a tournament can ever be held on a Sunday? Some of us are considerably older than 13  ^-^  and work on Saturdays.

Thanks!! --W.

Chance, yes. It happened once in July. Those will be exceptions, however, as the majority of the community wants Saturdays. However, you can always host an unofficial one if you don't care about the rewards. Or, indeed, ask me to do it. Just don't have special rules that will attract <9000 people. That's too much work to do outside of official tournies, and will cut into my sleep hours. x)
