(Context: I was asking whether I can use the same element in a different combo (say, mono-Aether G1 and then Time/Aether G2), which Artha and IF answered in the positive.)

I dont really particularly care about banning other cards, but 'may only use cards from those elements' excludes them. So in order to be consistent with the wording I say no other cards, but you can negotiate with your opponent before the games.

I would also appreciate a clarification on animate weapon and to a lesser extent luciferance. Do they count as nonzerocost-cards for air and light respectively?

yh, their cost is not zero (even if it doesnt specify element)

This week:

Reverse Ranking:

• Shards are banned.
• You must use at least 6 cards from any element you include cards of in your deck
• For each element you use in your deck, you may add upgrades according to the following table:

These upgrades add up, so for instance an   duo may run 5+8=13 upgrades.

These upgrade numbers are based on total war rankings.

Hyperdimensionsional sideboard:
Instead of changing decks each game, you may only change up to 15 cards after each game (these changes can be substituting a card with any other card (=replace with another card) or removing/adding a card). You may change your deckmark any time for free.


Try to make flexible deck choices so you can make the changes count.

maybe life light and aether pillar could be considered shiny and yh nova and quantum pillar too, im pretty sure any of those would screw up the balance a little too much though. There are a few shiny cards i left out for balance reasons.
