The algorithm handles newbies, league hiatuses, and few-game players much better than the elo system. This is due to the incorporation of a ratings deviation, which dampens the effect that "expected upsets" have on ratings, and a ratings volatility, which makes it easier to correct misratings automatically.

Well, this was my first season doing BL - it was a lot of fun overall, so huge thanks for the League Organizers - you guys are great.

If I could offer a suggestion, I'd say that the required number of matches might be lowered to increase more participation. 30 matches is a significantly more sustained time commitment than that of the weekly tournaments, for example, where sometimes 3-4 matches is all that the winner had to play (different events and different circumstances and all that, but just in terms of time needed, there is a big difference). I would also think that the ban minimum could be lowered to something where if you put in a decent effort, you don't get banned (maybe 10 games instead of 20).

But again, it's a really nice event on the forums, so thank you to everyone helping to make it happen!

Thoughts on getting rid of CL and diverting its rewards elsewhere? Really, there aren't nearly enough players for it anymore. We could replace it with a once-a-year fully upgraded PvP Event, perhaps.

Or you can join in CL and get more codes to do events

Couldn't we have BL with upgrades being an aspect similar to shards? Completely unupped would be default, but you would be able to say something like, max 10 upgrades per deck, or even, fully upgraded.

I don't like seeing shards banned from leagues, It should be a place where you could play full ETG,
wierd because this will against the votes of community, in the war for example  should be restricted shards (by community votes) and leagues with shards
sad but again I realized that in fact the wish few persons are more than the community in general

Shards aren't completely banned-- if both players agree, they can be unbanned. Imo, that is enough-- the current system allows for both sharded and unsharded matches, and that seems fair to me. Also, the votes there are really close to even; a compromise between the two stances should be the best option, and the status quo works for that.
