OK.Even if i dont like to type,dont speak verry well english and dont like to spend my time on this kind of stuff,instead to playing,i must explain situation to all participants of BL this season.
I have played around 140 matches in BL this season,with around 40 players, but Zappy212 is allready the 3-rd with wich one i had problem.

NOW WILL I EXPLAIN:
We played 1-st duel,and i won.
When we started to search for 2-nd duel,i was conected suddenly with salox.
Afther i explained to salox that i need to exit from duel and to play with Zappy212,we started to play 2-nd duel.
From begining of 2-nd duel Zappy212 started to to talk that its the 3-rd duel,and the score 1-1,because he waited for me too long.
Its allowed 2-3 minuts between matches,and he didnt waited me so long,but he claimed that it was longer.
I lost 2-nd match and that was 1-1 Zappy212 refused to continue match and said that is 2-1 for him.
Afther conversation vith TO Jenkar,TO decided that we can continue match with score 1-1.
I lost 3-rd match,and thats 1-2.(cant say gg).

POINT IS THIS:
Untill now i have bewared other players not to play  mrezman -because of trolling with desynch; BaitaLon -because of false results posting,and  Zappy212 ist the next one to avoid,if you dont want to spend 1 hour in conversation and argue with him,and aditional 30 minuts for posting like i do now.
He joined Forum TODAY (10.feb.2013.) and allready starts making problems.
Im not worried that i lost.This season i only test decks (over 180 decks tested untill now).
Im not affraid of strong players.
I have played Vangelios-9 times,Cheesy111-6 times,Marsu-5 times.etcetc.....
I just dont want to play trollers and un honourable players.
And most of all dont want to spend my time on typing,instead to play the game.
THIS IS ONLY MY WARNING TO AVOID THOSE PLAYERS LIKE I WILL.

I have to agree with DANIEELA here. I've played a lot of different people in this tourney and I'm happy to lose to good sports and I appreciate a quick 3-game match that goes smoothly. But my experience with zappy212 the other day was ridiculous. He lied about some aspect of each of our 3 games, including the 2nd game where I was winning and he disconnected from kong (including disappearing from the kong chat person list) then reconnected and claimed he hadn't lost connection.

In the first and 3rd games, he lied with the intent to deceive, and then after the match he declared that it "isn't against the rules" and while true, it is unsportsmanly. The rules don't say I have to battle him again, and so I will avoid playing him again and advise everyone else to as well.

He summed up my complaint by calling me a "sore loser," which is far from the truth. I don't mind losing and I enjoy seeing better decks beat me in pvp. I would be equally pissed off at his antics even if I had won.

What should have been a 10-15 mintue 3-game match turned into an hour long fiasco of frustration. DANIEELA's point that it is a new account and obviously a smart player is clear evidence that he is just trolling here.

Remove the 20k score requirement for CL. It's not enforceable, and not something anyone in CL checks for. Also limits participants for no reason. Some people apparently just want to play for fun, and for me, CL is a hell of a lot more fun than BL.

Boost rewards for both leagues or nerf rewards for weekly tournaments.

Allow people to DQ themselves from one league in order to join the other league. This can only be done once a season, and should be done before your (idk 10th?) match.


Make a 3rd league for actual new players. Nobody whose ever won or placed in an event can participate. more than 80k score can't participate.

Yes, I believe CL used to get 3 marks for first placed, and that was nerfed to 2 in order to match BL. I feel that was a mistake. Instead BL should have been raised to 3 marks.

Not even sure if 3 marks is enough, 4 might be more appropriate, but it's better than 2.

Also I realize that it might be a little biased sounding coming from me, but I made this point after the last league I won, and by now have a pretty good feel for the amount of work required to be top 3 in leagues, and it's more impressive than winning two tourneys.

How often (roughly) do you plan to update league standings?  Early on in the season it doesn't really matter as much, but later on it can be quite important to have frequent updates as people try to get the top places.

Approximately every 4 new pages of BL since the last update or 2 weeks since the last update, whichever comes first.  That way the standings will be at least moderately accurate.

I believe people joining leagues need at least 20-30 proper forum posts in order to avoid any problems at all. Otherwise, many "bot-like" players may appear in order to feed true BL/CL players and I have serious reasons to be suspicious towards specific CL participants.

Anyway I dont like that idea for what I think is a good reason:
It reduces the number of new serious community members. While I have no doubt that there are certain individuals that don't particularily like me, I doubt anyone really believes that the elements community would be a better place without me. Active players are something that the forum needs to survive. In my case, it was leagues that first motivated me to really become a member of the community. Before my first 20-30 posts.

Leagues are smart in that they encourage activity. You never know which first poster will become the next Cheesy or something.

That's also why I believe league rewards should be increased. There shouldnt be any reason why a player wouldn't join leagues. And if more rewards increase participation, then good. I think leagues should really be more important than war, as it forms connections between the whole community new and old. Also a disadvantage of splitting it into two leagues, CL players dont form connections with BL players in the same way.

This is also a good arguement I think for the return of two month seasons. If it was two months, you wouldnt have to increase rewards, encourage more activity, and not discourage new players from joining due to length of commitment or inability to catch up. The 30 match minimum could easily be reduced to adjust for the shorter time.

In summary: leagues build the community, leagues form friendships, 3 marks for 2 months>2 marks for 3 months, shorten league time/commitment.

Maybe make a special reward for best new league member and have a vote for most improved/most creative decks/best sportsmanship, etc...
