Battle it out with shock the nub.

1. HOW TO SIGN UP?
Anyone can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting below. Each person can only sign up one time. If sign up is withdrawn by a player, that player will be unable to sign up again in the future.

Each person will choose any set of rules for a 20 game match that they wish to use.

They will then individually message shockcannon to find an appropriate playing time.

Rulesets chosen must allow for some card switching in decks between games in the match.

Sign ups will officially begin at 00:00 UTC on May 13th 2019. Any sign up posts before this exact time will be ignored and treated as if they do not exist. Any posts that are made before the sign up time and then edited after the sign up time to change the timestamp will also be ignored.

2. GETTING READY
Open up your bag and make sure to fill it with adequate mindgates and precognitions.

3. DECKBUILDING
Determined by the ruleset of choice of each entrant for this event.

4. MATCHES
Matches consist of 20 games but players may choose to end the match early if the final outcome of the match has already been decided before all 20 games have been played. Players may also choose to play out the full 20 games for bragging rights or comparison to other entrants.

It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, players like Manuel will make sure a game counts as a loss for you if you cannot provide appropriate screenshot evidence taken on the winning turn but before the victory screen.

SUBSTITUTIONS
You may have another player sub for you if they have not entered this event up to that point in time. The substitute will forfeit his/her right to enter this event his/herself and will not be eligible for prizes. Keep in mind that subbing will most likely be frowned upon by the community for this event, however, desperate times call for desperate measures and sometimes prizes are worth more than pride.

5. AFTER DUELS
All players may submit their results and decks in this thread if they wish. Decks should be posted with a spoiler tag. All results will be updated in this topic post regardless of if the entrant chooses to post their results or not.

6. RULES & WINNER
Each entrant will be battling shockcannon in a 20 game match using the entrant's chosen ruleset that allows for deck switching between games.

If shockcannon wins 13 or more out of the 20 games, shockcannon is the winner! If the participating player wins 8 or more matches, that player is the winner!

Matches may span over several days if 20 games is too much to play at once. Games may be played on openETG vanilla if disconnects are occurring.


7. FAQ
When will this event end?
This event will never end, but players are only allowed one entry each and cannot "reattempt" this challenge. Scheduling playing times will also be contingent on shockcannon's availability and may vary depending on real life circumstances.

8. REWARDS AND DISCLAIMERS
Any player that wins 8 or more matches in this one entry per person event will receive a mark code. In addition, shockcannon will no longer be able to trash talk that player ever again in the future! Definitions for the word trash talk will be decided on a case by case basis, with the winning player choosing the definition of that word.

DISCLAIMER! Assuming 2nd place in WC rewards 4 mark codes, shockcannon only has 2 mark codes in current possession to give out for this event. Any winners after the first two will be credited a mark code but may have to wait until a future date to receive their prize. As a result, prizes will be given out in order based on sign up times. Players who sign up earlier and win their match will be given codes before winning players who sign up later. However, if a player who signs up early on fails to communicate or set any future playing date, a winner who signed up later may be given their reward first at the discretion of the event organizer.

If you have concerns regarding the self-centered nature of this event, feel free to not sign up. Responding to salty trolls only feeds them more. Instead, try ignoring them to effectively boycott unhealthy forum members. Be aware that in doing so, you will be giving up a free chance to win mark codes + bragging rights + more, with no drawbacks or downsides attached.

I challenge you to 60 card monos.

Unupped. PPMs of any element allowed, other cards allowed, any mark allowed. Each element must be used at least once but no more than three times in the match. If I lose I'll edit my signature to include anything you want within reason for a minimum of 3 months.

You may be superior in classic PvP but I will always beat you in speedbuilding.

HOWEVER, if I win, you MUST ALWAYS end your trashtalks (with any player) with "MW is better than me ".
Example: " RootRanger sucks, he is a noob and i am better than him. MW is better than me "

Detailed Rules:
Roll a new card every 3 games.
No re-rolls.**
maximum 20 upgrades each deck
Rolled card must have 4 copies in the deck.
No Bans.
Decks used are shared before each roll.
15 min to build decks. Must build all 3 decks from rolled card in this time. For each minute after 15 minutes, -1 upgrade. Example: 20 min to build decks means you have -5 upgrades.

** Can only re-roll unobtainable cards and if you have a nymph restriction. Relics, Other Cards, PPM's etc. Must be used. If you do not have 4 relics, use 4 other dead cards.

if you use a card [including PPM's (M's separate to pillars)] those cards are on cooldown for 2 games and cannot be used in the next 2 games.
    As an example if you play 24 water pillars 6NT game1 the next time you can legally play water pillars or NT again is game 4. (upped and unupped versions count as the same card for this)
    This accumulates so in game9 you cannot use any card used in your game7 or game8 deck.
To start off the match we both have 3 bans that will last for the first 5 games (cannot ban PPM's). These cards will be available for legal use in game6

Rules:

• Each deck must contain 6 Shard of Serendipity
• Unlimited upgrades
• Max 40 cards deck size
• The following cards are banned: Black Hole, Amber Nymph, Shard of Focus, Earthquake, Shard of Integrity, Pulverizer, Shard of Patience, Trident, Flying Weapon, Sundial, Eternity, Vampire Stiletto, Silence

And please don't do stuff like mono with 6 SoSe as dead cards, that defeats the whole purpose of this. Also, I trust that you're an honest person and won't try to play banned cards and claim you've gotten them from SoSe. (Of course, if you do get them from SoSe, you can freely play them, there's not restriction on that)
