Appreciate feedback in this thread. Running oetg events in the same track as etg events might be unnecessary: etg matchs are a real time investment, so it makes sense to not have two etg events running concurrently, but this wouldn't apply to oetg/etg concurrency given oetg's pvp pace

Also, deck codes have been changed, so have fun translating yours. All in for a smooth transition there.

Have implemented support for pasting deck codes from etg into oetg's deck editor

This thread: it's annoying that we have to convert original deck codes to import into oetg

Serprex: ok now you can automatically import original deck codes directly in oetg without converting

This is what I mean about "tell us what you want us to improve".

To me all this "I like the game as it is" is just silly.

That much for not criticizing my opinion.
Rather than calling people with different mindsets idiots, you could just accept that some don't think the way you want them to.

I could post further details, but that will likely just end up on deaf ears anyway. Most of my points are still valid. Also, Wyand summarized some of it already.

We just fixed one of the details you posted above (importing using original style deck codes), so I hope you will not consider our ears deaf at least. We would appreciate additional suggestions if you have any for us and would take the time, even if you don’t want to play.

It is very helpful to have fresh viewpoints and understand the specific things that are causing people trouble. We are working on fixing the general problems people highlight (bad ui, etc), but we look at the game so much that we can often miss individual details that cause trouble for others.

Please feel free to PM serprex and myself if you’re willing to share your advice.

As I'm using the interface of oETG again, I remembered there is one thing that had bothered me since the beginning.

Please order the cards in alphabetical order. Someone said that it's fast to put together a deck, but that's not true when I have to search for every card name. As exceptions, you can still put Pillars and Pendulums to the top of the list, but it makes no sense that they are in the middle column and not in the left column.

(I think the current card order represents the order of introducing the cards, but that is pointless information.)

I like the current layout. You've got cards separated by type and ordered by cost.

I did not know that creatures, permanents and spells are separated into the 3 columns. That's helpful, though it would help new players figure this out if it was written above each column.

Ordering by cost does not help though when building decks. Why even learn costs? Costs would only matter in the Bazaar, but oEtG only has packs, so ordering by costs makes little to no sense. I never looked at the cost of a single card, why would others?

My request of alphabetical ordering still stands.

Quanta cost, not card value. It's a good way of organizing cards, imo.

Quanta cost is better than card cost, though I believe it is still less helpful for new players (and once again, it's not written anywhere?). However, this might be useful for migrating EtG players. I will check the cards next time with this knowledge and see how much difference it makes.
