Each player will submit 2 decks. [No cards that the simulator won't use; No shards]
Then each player will build 1 deck to face the decks of the other 2 players in their group.
The first two decks must contain exactly 30 cards, must be a mono and cannot have any similar cards with your other deck; in addition, the deck will have 3x mark and 100hp.
The third deck must contain exactly 40 cards. No upgraded cards - Maximum 1 copy of non-pillar/pend cards.
The win percentages will be added together, the lowest player in each group will be eliminated.
PM your deck to majofa and Submachine.

For the first 2 decks, that need to be mono: is it allowed to use a mark different from the element of the cards ? (for the purpose of using some off-element abilities)

The "first two decks"...

What is intended by "cannot have any similar cards with your other deck"?
- The two initially submitted decks cannot share any similar cards.
OR
- The third deck a player submits to face the others cannot share any cards with either of the first 2 decks.

Also, I feel confident in this but ask for clarification to avoid last-minute-trouble: the countdown here is for the first two decks only.  Correct?

Similar doesn't sound correct - shouldn't it be "same cards"? Eg. 2 mono light decks - one with 30 pillars, another with 29 pendulums and 1 pillar should be treated as illegal

I also think you mean

The third deck must contain exactly 40 cards. No upgraded cards - Maximum 1 copy of non-pillar/pend cards.

Terribly sorry to ask, but can we have a day extension for this round please? I am coming back from a 3 week holiday today with my nan and step brother and they won't be leaving until after this round finishes. I wouldn't be asking if there were more people and if I didn't like this event. I am not trying to delay everyone on purpose but I also don't want to give away easy wins to Zso and farscape.

I second the request for an extension.

Also, do the marks need to be the same element as the rest of your deck? Are "other" cards allowed?

I would be okay with 1 day extension as long as the extending only takes place after the current countdown is over.
But since majofa is the editor of the rounds, his word decides everything.
And we keep driving into the night
It's a late goodbye, such a late goodbye...

Can an event organizer please post clarification about the rule stating "cannot have any similar cards with your other deck"?  Does it mean the first two decks could not share similar card or is it applicable to the response-deck not being able to share similar card with a contestant's first two decks?

Thanks!
