Me and some other people were discussing in chat about old events.

I personally like Rags and Riches.

I don't do pvp events much, so my experience isn't very representative, but I thought events with asymmetrical positions/win conditions were pretty cool-- like Falling Empire.

Rags to Riches was run off a program that Shrink coded. So someone would have to tackle that.

If anyone ever wants to run an event, feel free to PM me. (elk and Root are prime examples of this)

I suppose if we have multiple people with decent events they want to run, we could run a poll for them. But the first step for this is to express interest in hosting to majofa.

Although there are lamentably a limited number of people interested in hosting, I do think we should still have polling, even if it's just between re-run events. Could we make a new thread, have people nominate ideas, then vote? I think as long as people are not strictly required to host the events they nominate, we should get enough nominations and votes.

Would also be useful to have polling on whether or not people will want a PvP Event during War.

I was planning on having Double xlots run starting sometime around/during War. It's an event that doesn't necessarily have 'rounds' so it might work better during War.

I ended up running Budokan when I did because there seemed to be enough people interested in PvP Events at the time (which ended up working out).

I would definitely love to see 12 lives run again, just going to shout that out, though I won't be willing to host it.

On the other hand I wouldn't dislike another Draft either.
I don't particularly like 12 lives.

As for hosting, I'm not against it but I'd rather not.
