Give us no hope, our chances are slim.
Drowning is always no pleasure indeed,
From water we run with all our speed;
But fire is worse, it's a nightmare come true
Combusting is bad, between me and you.
The one thing that we dread the most
Is our nemesis, Death is our ghost.
But why do we fight, so scared and frail?
Why do we keep at it, why try to prevail?
Our strength is from Life, from blood and sweat:
Don't you underestimate our threat.
We're in this as friends, as trustworthy team,
We're in this to fight off Fire's regime!
Together we stand, our fears now gone:
We're brave, we're strong, we will live on.
