Maybe you should focus some more on your vault, friend
Don't worry, the focus is on vaultbuilding. 95% of our propaganda were made ~1,5 months earlier.
Fact is making propaganda count is dumb because it's subjective, we don't even know what the rewards are, so it's not like we can make an effective cost-benefit analysis of putting in effort. Totally reminds me of school where I was assigned a bunch of bullshit tasks & made some classic presentations: a bunch of random images streaming by while I ramble, a slide show which was just scrolling text going on with some stream of consciousness, a presentation where instead of making a powerpoint I wrote a stream of consciousness in notepad.. I suppose there's a pattern showing up here
Come up with an objective definition of better & we can talk. Until then, ceci n'est pas propaganda
If you are going philosophical there is no way to prove that something is better than others. Most of the time what's better is a subjective thing. But!
There are objective methods to measure quality. I bet you were given some points how those presentations should look. * Here, the given points
for the assignment were like this:
College is a big step of life. Making a choice as to which major you want to take is one that will define your whole life. As leaders of your subject/element, here is your chance to attract new people. Your student association might need strong warriors students in the upcoming competition.
Each team which makes some substantial propaganda (before the vaultbuilding deadline passes) will get X relics. WMs will be the judge of 'substantial', but as long as you put in some effort you will be fine.
Objective measurement factor of quality: did your propaganda comply to this description? You see, can assess a cost-benefit analysis, too, since more substantial propaganda equals more Relics.
But let's not get that analytical, financial and so on: propaganda should mean that you are having fun while being creative.
At the same time I feel that this conversation occured because of two different approaches: "the battle-hardened veterans, who doesn't care about aesthetics of War" vs. "the enthusiastic newcomer
who loves creating new content, and thinks that this should matter".
Propaganda is there to attract players to your team. Did you get the most favs?
Uh, sillyspin shows it is some sort of funny www-trolling? /me does not find any fav button.
I always viewed propaganda like something more than just attracting players to someone's team. I believe propaganda is also how well you represent your element to the community in general. Moreover, I think that we ought to reward entropy's propaganda for staying in-theme with some +reps to Wyand.
* Problem is that most kids treat it the way you described because they are not interested and don't want to put themselves into the product.
When I have a given task I'll always want to do far better than the average. You can always learn from that, whether you like the topic or not.
