We the People of the Forests of Life, in Order to form a more perfect Element, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common good, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Declaration of War.
When in the Course of elemental events it becomes necessary for one element to dissolve the bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the quanta, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Elements and of Element's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of elementalkind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all elementals are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, decks are instituted among them, deriving their just powers from the consent of Zanzarino, — That whenever any Grandmaster becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Grandmaster, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Grandmasters who earned their throne should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that elementalkind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Grandmaster, and to provide new Guards for their future security. — Such has been the patient sufferance of these Forests; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Reigning Element. The history of the present Grandmaster is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these Forests. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.
He has refused to respect the nature of the element of life, by abolishing it's ways, cards, and decks.
He has prevented the growth of this element by depriving it of supplies, quanta, and land.
He has taxed what little supplies we have, more highly than our people can afford. The electrum tax has never benefitted our land or people. Failure to comply has been punishable by death.
He has ignored our people's claims, treating his own elementals as above the law.
He has sat idly by as our men, women, and children have been kidnapped, refusing to investigate or prevent said kidnappings, have trials on those who were suspected of causing them, or even admit the elementals were kidnapped in the first place.
He has refused to admit life elementals have equal rights to life as entropy elementals.
He has dissolved all form of protection of these woods, declaring all minutemen, town watches, or voluntary soldiers wanted, and placing a bounty upon their heads. In the rare instance a life elemental turns in such a citizen, the bounty is never awarded to them. He refuses us the ability to put up jade shields or spine carapace. He refuses us the ability to distribute heals amongst our people, or strengthen ourselves through the bonds of empathy.
He has instead forced his own standing army inside our forest without our consent, despite their disrespect and lack of regard for our traditions and laws.
He has ignored the entropists caught red handed harming our ways and people
He has allowed his armies to murder our creatures, and forests, for sport.
He has cut down our forests to fuel his home nation, leaving no lumber for our own use, or seeds for replanting. He has no regard for soil quality, and frequently burns stumps that are inconvenient for him.
He has ordered our people to his throne without reason or measures to get there, making it a crime punishable by death if they do not oblige when summoned. Those who go visit him are never seen again, and not allowed to communicate with their families the result of their journey. A brave scout went along and reported these force pilgrimages were used to gain more slaves and prisoners, before the scout was murdered.
He has allowed his men to preform gruesome and inhumane acts on our people, allowing them to shower our lands with chaos seed and pandemonium.
He has rewarded those who mutate our people into horrible abominations, having them experiment on their ill-gotten mutants and report to him the results.
He has personally mutated our people.
In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.
Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Entropy brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their Grandmaster to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of their victory in the war, marked time and time again by ill-gotten victories and one-sided applications of fair play. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.
We, therefore, the Representatives of the Forests and Jungles of Life, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to ScaredGirl and Zanzarino for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of this Element, solemnly publish and declare, That life elementals are, and of Right ought to be a Free and Independent Element, that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the Entropy Crown, and that all political connection between them and the Throne of Zeru, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent Forests, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which an Independent Element may of right do. — And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.
We further declare war on the Element of Entropy, for grievous crimes against our element. We exact vengeance on it's elements for mutating our people, destroying our land, and disgracing the great god Zanzarino with his actions. We abolish it's rule, and challenge it's greatest soldiers to war for their lives, or face the judgement that exists beyond. We Declare Zeru, Amilir, Sir_Valimont, SnoWeb, vagman, 10men, xKelevra, Kurohami, and Nyma fugitives, who have committed crimes against elementalkind, breaking the very laws of physics for sport, and suffering no consequences or trials for their actions. We inform them that we will kill them on sight without hesitation. We further declare war on all elements who would house or protect these individuals from the justice that is long overdue.
We do not wish to replace the disgusting disgraceful insults to elementalhood the previous Grand Master and his subjects were. We do not wish to usurp his reign of terror, murder, and mutation, only to replace it with our own. It is the mission of the element of Life to create a peace between all elements, where they might live freely and heal the wounds of war. However, if no peace can be established, Life will be forced to take action in order to protect it's already weakened and frail forests.
We declare, upon this day, our immediate beginnings of war.
