Darkness

Insert epic speech here.
No really, feel free to insert one for me.

After all these wars, I might now be the most experienced Master generaling in war, but I gave up on trying to win like 6 wars ago.
Yet here I am.
Again.
Just hoping to have some fun.
All people looking for fun should join Darkness, I'll do all the required stuff, y'all just come on over and relax.
Though you can join and put in some effort, too.
If you want.
Then, maybe, we may even be able to win this war.
Together.
That's fun, too, right?

So, regardless of what it is you want, as long as it includes fun: join Darkness!
And if you don't like fun, here is how you spell it: "Bans: Darkness".

This is better than any epic speech i could think of. This is most likely the first propaganda that made me consider joining war on its own power. It spoke to me on a whole other level.

Yes, this is how I wrote coursework in school. Yes, I'm listening to some music, listen!

Tho if I really wanted to be thematic I'd be listening to some good Notwist stuff,

But I'm feeling pretty great lately, like I'm unwinding all these years, like I'm not stuck in school anymore, with coursework like this you can see why I dropped out, huh? I try not to let that identify me, but it's always at the back of my mind when I'm trying to get through interviews, in a way I'm back in school a bit right now since I've been studying programming puzzles, Google's resigned to the fact that this seems the best way to assess people, they send a whole email outlining how to cram study, I should be studying now but instead I'm writing this propaganda & trying to learn chords on guitar..

Why is this propaganda so wrapped in how I identify? Because that's all propaganda is. It's trying to get people to identify with your bullshit. & I've got all the bullshit, so give me all your people, & I'll give you

Okie, okie, it goes on, see, it's not double posting in propaganda because propaganda is where we meme & if anybody asks "Hey you kids, when's your curfew?" You just say "For the memes!"

Now it's too late for you to join :darkness Darkness :darkness but sorry kids, you're just not cut out for it, we're both transparent & opaque, after the fact reveal, you won't pierce the veil, only when we lift it from your eyes, then don't you see?

Like in The Broken Bubble, where Pat has a few drinks & paints the walls "she took the darkness with her" "covered the walls in it" I don't know, I don't have the book on me, it was good

Let's rage some more about school. In seventh grade we had to make a pamphlet. I made one on how to setup a terrarium. Ended up being graded worse than a friend of mine's whose project was a few sentences printed on a page. Meanwhile I had hand drawn illustrations. Teacher said she gave me the lower grade because she expected more from me than him. Like wow

& don't even get me started on group work. One person would tryhard & do it all & complain they did it all, meanwhile totally ignoring my suggestions. But here we are with new technology, with SMF we can all contribute our part separate from the whole, like a dagger behind a cloak, meshed until that final decisive frame

Does this translate? Darkness propaganda is an oxymoron. Let's be real tho, Team Darkness is the real Team Entropy, we'll out number Team Entropy's Marks of Entropy any day, these propaganda marks are a consolation prize in comparison

Alright, alright, third time's a charm, & Ian won't help because he's able to prioritize his life, but I have half an hour to burn, so apparently what good propaganda has is LISTS

How I learned to stop worrying & join Darkness

Torb's always complaining about how inactive his war team is, so I just messaged him to say I'd like an active team too
Seriously guys, be active. Don't be an Ian
Torb didn't even really know me, he thought that tournament win I had a month ago was my first tourney win
Played Darkness in both my decks that tournament, but really Entropy won me the result: Sov/Lightning beat Sov/Deflag vs deuce, he just couldn't draw sovs or deflag
Really I'm curious how many other people stay inactive during auction, it's pretty useful for getting on the team you want, I've gotten on the team I've wanted to get on all three times, only been through one draft tho
So don't worry, just stay offline, sheathed in darkness, shield yourselves from prying eyes, like that time I was walking along a path & I saw some guy just standing in the brush, staring at me, breathless

What's better than a list? A list of lists

How to make lists as well as Team Darkness does

Don't bid 7500 on one player
Don't just bid 5000 on all the players
When writing an email, recognize that nobody reads. How to instantly improve a paragraph? Turn each sentence into a bullet list. This causes the information density to be reduced, & that tricks people into reading. Also it's way easier to skim, since you can make sure to read 3-4 words from each sentence & now you don't have to read most of the words. Reading is hard
I don't know how much Team Darkness reads, but I read a lot, I read in the dark, it makes my eyes sore, like wine makes my eyes sore, then my boss gets annoyed because I'm sitting in meetings with sunglasses on, I keep all the shades down, when my mother comes over I know to put on sunglasses beforehand since she'll open all the blinds
Spreadsheets are great, even if you don't know how to use spreadsheets. As Torb says, spreadsheets are for people who don't know how to program
When does a list become a table? That's what we really need

I realize this may be hard to understand for someone whom only joined in 2018, but in the long time I've been here I've left and returned twice. The final reply on July 11th 2016 marked my official return, with no significant absence since. In fact, I have not once abandoned my team during a war. If you are to accuse me of unreliability, serious or not, at least base it on actual facts.

Surely you have more honor than to sink so low as to resort to personal attacks?

If having Aether as your war element is such a large advantage, what excuse will you have for not winning this war? Please be more creative than blaming RNG.
