Last war, the world was thrown in chaos and dissarray, forces are spread thin and loyalties divided, but I now ask for you to join me. Join me in my attempt to break the reign of the twisted Entropy, and let Darkness be restored to its former glory, back when there was no war...

All elements are slowly regrouping their forces, a new war is about to unfold, I ask everyone to join me, while you still have a choice. My minions are already hidden across the battlefield, ready to strike. I'm merely biding away my time in Darkness, waiting to strike the other elements when they are most vulnerable: right in the middle of war.

Join me in the bloodshed that will come, or be haunted by nightmares of ninjas ambushing you during your sleep, every single night, untill they finally come for real...

ummm i like the war speech so far but if you need with it or anything else ask and all see what i can do (i predict darkness being in the top 5 this year )  gl to you torb and anyone else who gets picked for darkness which maybe me too (changed mybanned elements) but ya pm me or ask me in chat all be glad to help you with anything

War banner is up (credits for the banner go entirely to vrt), I'll pm SG now to fix the war song widget (paint it black), and then it's done!

1. War Banner/Flag - FAIL
War is about killing, but just because you chop your enemy's head off, doesn't mean you shouldn't look good doing so. This is why all 12 elements need a War Banner.

War Banner/Flag is a picture of a banner or a flag that will be attached to the Propaganda Topic of your element. It should show the viewer why your element is the best.

Requirements and restrictions:
- max size 300px x 500px (banner) or  500px x 300px (flag)
- has to be unique (don't simply steal copyrighted images from the web. Here is a good source to get you started: http://www.sxc.hu/ )
- has to have some Elements art, like creatures or icons
- has to be awesome (approved by Warmasters)
- can be done by anyone, even by someone outside the team

So take out the old Photoshop, Illustrator, Paint, etc. and produce the most amazing War Banner/Flag the world has ever seen!

Well, yes, the banner represents a Nightmare (hence the blurryness) of a Black Dragon approaching. How does that fail to meet the requirements?

Its a freaking awesome artwork but it isn't a banner its just a picture. It has no heraldry, it has no liturgy, its a picture that should be shown in a book of fantasy art. It is not a Banner of War. Look at Gravity's Banner, it has Heraldry, in the Icon, it has imagery in the whole gravity clan, it has a liturgy "Crushing the oposition". Look at Lifes Banner, it has heraldry in the life signs, it has imagery in the gang of creatures it has liturgy, "Thug Life".
