Angelic_Dawn: This is a good idea, but full rainbow would be far too expensive that way. I guess having just mono and duo decks in Arena is not the point, is it? If there are 1 of 4 or 1 of 5 rainbow decks, that's ok imo.
So a maybe better "system":

Mono: 0 additional points (color of the oracle card)
Duo: 4 additional points
Trio: 5 additional points
4-6 used elements: 12 additional points
7-12 used elements: 20 additional points

majofa's idea isn't bad either, but there must be some difference in bronze and platinum about it. For example this rule won't effect bronze at all, it would light up 9 elements in Silver, 6 in gold and 4 in Platinum. This way new players still would be able to play the "full" game.

Banning QT and SN cards from Arena is clearly unfair with smaller players because of the lack of upgraded cards. They usually have some upped QTs and SNovas but that's all. Think about it. Using double draw and 2x or 3x mark will not solve the problem. Why should have the more experienced players more variety in their deckbuilding?

I have 2 suggestions to solve this problem:
1. SoGs definitely have to be banned, no question about that. Decks with 6x SoG and 6x Sanctuary are clearly unfair and kills the game, this is no fun at all.
2. Maybe QTs and SNs should be banned from the Gold league (while QPs and Novas still could be used imo) and QT, QP, SN and Nova cards should be banned from Platinum. This way the players with more Electrum and upped or unupped cards will must be creative and build less boring decks. However "smaller" players, who are in Silver or Bronze league will still be able to use all of their cards.

Thanks!

Yes, I see that. And I think that we found the common ground here. People should think to find the best (and fastest) way of dealing with the Gods. This is whereof the challenge really has to go about imo. :)

Yeah.. I forgot about those.
So maybe his deckout is the only rainbow option.
But Mowgli should be very hard with a mono/duo deck also. Guys in JFF1 (hardly!) beat him with lots of Gratitude Shards... While Mowgli doesn't have ANY kind of permanent control (what is his only but big weakness), having some SoG in your deck is a huge benefit!

Nice one kiszol. :)

Yep, Phase Shield is the key. Unless you can play it during the first 3-4 turns, you are pretty much dead.

Him decking out is probably the only way you can do it. If not for those Feral Bonds you could probably kill him with poison.
Thanks! :)
Just as you said. Play nothing in the first 2 turns, than play a Shield if you can (but you can't in most of the cases) otherwise play a Sundial if you have one. Don't draw a card with it after it's first turn, and draw after the second one only if you really have to, otherwise save your cards for not decking out... Be aware that you might need some Sundial for the end game, when Mowgli starts to momentum his big guys and you don't have more rewinds... In mid game you should use Dissipation Shield. He won't have momentumed creatures so far and you have ~15 Towers, so the Shield will probably save you for 5-10 turns...
Another key fact is that Mowglis Discord effect doesn't work through Dimensional and Dissipation Shield.

Poison could be another option without FB-s yes, but unfortunately Mowgli has 2 Purify too...

The "boring" part actually depends on the environment effect. In JFF Part 2, the Realm of Earth was clearly designed to promote the use of a rainbow deck (the 4 card limit being a serious problem for mono-decks). On the other hand, the Realm of Entropy in JFF Part 1 was designed for mono-decks and is nearly impossible to beat with rainbow.
Try to kill Mowgli with a rainbow and tell me again that it's "boring".
I admit that you are right but we were talking about different things. In the original game, players used to grind False Gods with just the same anti FG rainbow deck boosted up with sundials. If someone tries your trainer and fights against the new Gods, he will find that he has the best chances with rainbow decks in overall. There could be some expectations, for example Realm of Entropy, what you mentioned, but for most of the Gods (whether the old or the new ones doesn't really matter), you only have to set up some kind of standard rainbow deck and keep trying till you are lucky enough to execute the God. That is the thing what we (at least SG,YYB and me I guess) don't like and that's what I call boring. It's much more fun if people need to think of a really good (NOT RAINBOW) deck for each God. This would result different decks for all Gods and - imo - more exciting and challenging game.

For example, you mentioned realm of Earth what is "clearly designed to promote the use of a rainbow deck". You are right, the effects of this realm really make the non rainbow victory very hard. But, if you check it, you will see that I killed all the 3 Earth Gods with a non rainbow deck. It was great fun for me, and if I would have punched these Gods with the "ordinary" FG deck I would surely fall asleep in the meanwhile... :D

Anyway, I like the new effects and I don't mind if sometimes the rainbow decked victory is easier... I'll do it if I should. But everyone has to know, that he DON'T NEED TO USE a rainbow deck against FGs, there are other ways.

This challenge applies to everyone: I'll bow to the first person who posts a screenshot of him killing Mowgli with a rainbow deck.
Well, Mowgli is not an easy guy. Tons of creatures... Ulitharids... some Rewinds... huge Bone Walls... that crazy Discord... ugly :)
While I like challenges, I tried to do this one too, and finally I did it. It took me ~1,5 hours what is not that bad I guess. After I had my final deck, I only had to start 4-5 games to win once.

Deck:

Yes, it's not the typical rainbow deck and not a typical victory, but no one said it has to be. And it's definitely rainbow.
Hands together no offense Chris, I don't say that the rainbow victory is easy as pie, moreover I say that a Mono/Duo deck would be much better.

Try to kill Mowgli with a rainbow and tell me again that it's "boring".
I did that. You don't have to bow :)
And it wasn't boring! :)

False Gods / Championship

We already have a scoring system. Read the rules.
I know that for sure.
But chris wrote: "you have to defeat other player's Gods before they kill yours". From this, I think the winner is the first player who beats all the Gods (except his/her own God). It sounds interesting anyway.

I like this idea. I have some ideas about it:

-> After the Ultra FGs of JFF1&2 we could "easily" win against a "normal" FG I guess. So we should find a way to make them stronger.
-> Firstly, 5x (or more) mark and the 250 HP sounds good for every God.
-> Another thought is to give all the players FGs some enviromental effects. But not new ones (that could last a while for pour chris), but some of the already exists ones. I mean that there should be a list of approx. 20 enviomental effects such as auto Fire/Diamond/Turtle/Other Shiled, auto Lobotomizer/Other Weapon, 75 HP start for Player, 4 cards limit for Player, and some Improved cards, maybe 1 for each element (buffed Heal, better Explosion, etc.), and every player should choose 3 of them (or more?). Chris will create the deck that way. Or is that too hard or needs to much time?
-> There should be a point system. First one to kill a God should get more points then second, etc. And I think, that wins with rainbow decks should worth less than wins with mono/duo/trio decks.
-> We should find a way for Chris if he also wants to participate in the Champs.

These are my first notes...

False Gods / Feedback & Suggestions

No, you're not alone SG, my opinion (and I guess Yoyobros) is nearly the same. As you see (if you read it), my suggestion above contains the weaker gods, and you can't use QT and Novas against them. I don't care if my idea won't come reality, but I also have the opinion that rainbow decks should be somehow banned. But my only problem is that if we ban QTs, we will lose a lot of players... They love tweaking the "standard" FG deck, and the win against these very strog FGs is a big challenge for them, even with Rainbow deck. I think that we should find some "golden way", so the challenge would be creative and hard enough for us, for pros, but interesting for the semi pros... My idea is something like this, but a bit complicated so we have to find something what is more simple.
