(And slightly a little more to Shantu - of course, Majofa and SteppingStone could have been dragging you along, winning all their matches while you hopelessly flopped along behind them, attatched to a rope of some sort, in another one of these semi-complex and unrelated visual metaphors which spawn from Prisoner's Dilemma).
But life isn't fair, and I love all of you guys equally, with differing degrees of equally.
(Actually, I think you guys scored yourselves a pretty good team right from the start, congratulations for pulling through)

Congrats majofa and Shantu!

For posterity, if I had to point to one factor that pulled us through, I'd say it was good ban synergy.  We didn't have many (if any) overlapping bans, and we mostly prevented:

fast quanta (immo, nova),cheap denial (EQ, discord),cheap PC (deflag, steal), andother powerful cheap cards (poison, FW, RT)

Trios fail hard without cheap cards.

p.s.  Not sure how Shantu and majofa feel, but I'd love to see a different format for the finals in the future.  (I do not currently have any good suggestions.)
