Prisoners, listen up, because this is the one and only time I'm going to go through all of this. And I'm going to start with a couple of rules.
1. You do not talk about these fights.
2. You do not talk about these fights!
3. The fighters will wear masks. You cannot see who the fighters are. You are forbidden to tell anyone who the fighters are, even when watching. You could be watching yourself fight, from the sidelines.
4. The fighters will not be named. You are under no circumstances allowed to attempt to discover which fighter is which, even if they are your best friend, or your next rival.
5. You may comment on the strategies, moves and ideas of the teams, and players, as long as they have no names.

Now, every other time, I won't be here. You won't get to here my reassuring voice on the sidelines. You'll only watch the fights. Directly delivered to you, commentary free, just like those sick production managers want. But be grateful, they are also the ones sponsoring your getting outta here. That is, if you win.


Imma walk you through all this, step by step. But for future reference, if something is said in my particular tone of voice, (italicised), it won't be there in the actual event. So, all you kids be warned, I can't hold your hand the whole way through.

Now, that's the end of the first battle. I hope you guys noticed a little something. Their decks all had at least 5 moves of every element they had chosen- with a casting cost. Notice as well that time that the second guy used an illegal move, he instantly lost that match? Yeah, you don't wanna do that.
Luckily, you get two more. So, if you were the Edward Norton, rewatching Brad Pitt take this other guy on - meaning, that was your match- you get to see how your teammates reacted to the elements chosen, and get some idea of how they fight.
Like always, they fought to 3 wins, or give up. This can take between 1 and 5 fights, so I hope you prepared well.

You might notice that here, the decks have little names. That's just to make it a little easier on you, those wont be there either. Or, they will be randomised, made up, or change every time. Basically, meaningless. Just another of those little things I do to get you easied into this life. Hell, you're gonna need it. But damn, will you be glad you did it. Anyway, onto the second round...

And that's the end of the second game. No obligation to use many decks, as you can see, although it can be wise to prepare some counter decks beforehand. One minimum, three max, and any strategy in between. Now, these fights are unveiled after all the fights are done. Only us guards, and those monsters working in that corporation see you live, masked and fighting for your freedom. It doesn't translate well onto the big screen, but you'll have to deal with it.
What it means is, we still get a third game, whether or not the match was won when they fought. Another chance to figure out what desperate brawler's you're tied to, or could come up against.

Now, you might be able to see here, even the smallest changes in decks have to be posted, and count as a whole new one. Build them properly boys, you only got one shot at this. And while it sickens me to watch three of you guys go down every week, this is truly, the opportunity of a lifetime for you.
Unless of course, you would rather a lifetime here.

So yeah. This was round 1, Battle 3. But it wasn't, really. I'm naming it now, but it's not here. It has no name, it has no place. It won't make any difference whatsoever to you. But, now, you know what to expect. And you know how to prepare. Although, I'm warning you, the batch your up against will be much harder than these loveable wimps we have up here, serving life sentences.
Unless they win.

Now, I'm going to stay for a while. This is brutal stuff, and can be offputting. But you have to win this, just like they did. So, if you have any questions, absolutely anything at all about this, shoot. I'm here, Imma be helping you guys out, while I can.
