Hmmm... I don't know... I thought 5 turns would be a bit long. But I suppose that would work, I mean a 30 card deck would have 30 turns of protection if they included 6 in there. Also, the thing is, it would be untargetable by PC, so I thought to balance it would mean that it would last a shorter time. Should it be PC targetable or not? I mean it would continue the theme of all these spell prevention items being untargetable, but it would be very different from the other cards of its category in that it would be the first not to be a shield that takes up a valuable slot. Hmmm... I'll keep thinking about the additional effect. I wanted to try to make it a viable card rather than an OP card.
I was thinking... it could last 8-ish turns but it would also prevent spell dmg ( not reflect even upped) that you would deal... but would that make it UP?
I was also thinking...what if it guarded your creatures as well? It is a spell shield kind of thing after all. For example, Cloak guards permanents+creatures. This card could guard(like make creatures take 0 dmg, not be untargetable) from damaging spells like shockwave or firebolt. So this would guard instead of permanents+creatures, it would defend from direct damage and CC. If it added this effect though I wouldn't know how many turns it should last. I would think if it kept the number of turns it would have to increase the cost to 2
/
unupped and 2
upped to keep it fair. If it lasts longer, i could see it costing even double that amount. In this case, I would believe that the PC prevention should be removed.
What do you guys think?
