Steal opponents creature https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=35350.msg445292#msg445292

I was thinking of a card that could take an opponents creature, but i haven't thought any further than that.
It would only last a turn then the creature would be returned under the owners control
Or maybe add a limitation where you can't take a creature over x atk or hp, so it wouldn't be too powerful and could be used just as a counter to antimatter.
Anyway I don't know what the cost would be or what element it would fall under.
What do you guys think?

Considering it would last only one turn, and that the opponent does not lose chance to attck, it seems quite like a damage spell (in 1 turn you can't even use the ability of that card). A cost of 3 would be reasonable i guess

Yeah i considered two versions of the card
1. The one turn "Damage" spell as you call it, and yes you wouldn't be able to use the ability
2. Permanent control of the creature, having a limitation on attack or casting cost so it isn't OP, for example having an attack limit of 5 would prevent you from taking a creature that has more than 5 attack

Put a limit on the atk is quite good, but don't consider it as a condition to cast the spell, try something like "Take control of target creature. If at the end of the turn its atk is >5, return it to the opponent"

I think a Mind Control card has been suggested before.

Closest I could find: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11312.msg148974#msg148974

I had exactly the same card idea - it was my first post ever here (ignore the illegal art and everything failing and such :P):

Always liked the idea, may be a good time to revisit it.
Years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash, Bob Hope, and Steve Jobs. Now we have Obama, no hope, no cash, and no jobs.
