Neither card removes the poisen counter, you just don't take damage from it. Upgraded adds an extra point of healing to the spell 'Purify'

Formatting aside...
It seems that you are just trying to buff purify.  It's a poison immune card... That's like a sanctuary to a ghostmare deck, except that with ghostmare, you can still rely on the ghosts for damage.  But with this card... it's just complete immunity.

Purify is already a poison resistant card.  It doesn't need another card to pretty much replace it in the fight against poison.
You're not adding another poison resistance card, you're replacing one... It's even in the same element.

Also with the costs, the upgraded costs more... and as far as I can tell... gives it a heal 1 hp per turn buff... That's really not worth it.
