I could use some feedback before entering these into smithy.
1) Has anyone seen / done the idea before?
2) Is it obviously OP or UP
3) How can I make these cards produce quanta in a way that is useful to any deck, but is most useful to trios / quartets.
4) What would be the best way to have the reform ability allow the card owner to control the element of the element specific creature it creates?

I had an idea for a creature that splits into additional smaller creatures when killed. Similar to pheonix, but multiple "dead" states are created when the first one is killed and the "dead" state is a weak 0|1. Its a little tricky to describe in words, so here are the cards:

The last one is just an example, there would be one for each element, but they are all essentially just a xerox of the amethyst for each different element (e.g. each one splits into 2 piles when killed and produces 1 quanta of its element per turn).
Only the Prismatic splinter beast would be available for collection by players. The others can only be made by breaking a splinter beast into pieces.
The main ideas here are
1) Creature that is resistant to single target CC spells and skills
2) A means for decks to accelerate quanta production.
3) A way to produce multiple new creatures over several rounds.

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
If your zombie plan is
kill -9 `ps l | awk '{print $2" "$3" "$9}' | grep "Z" | awk '{printf("%s ",$2)}'`
You might be a unix junky
