This is pure genius! I love this mechanic, it would be so awesome.
Let me just offer my thoughts on the matter:
- Would it be possible to have different types of these? Possibly 1 for each element (maybe not all of them)? The names could be Otyugh Larva -> Juvenile Otyugh -> Otyugh -> Elder Otyugh -> Otyugh Skeleton (Otyugh is just an example name)
- I would change the mechanic to being a passive ability, such as "Larva - Turn into a juvenile in 2 turns" or something like that. That way, the creatures can have active skills themselves.
- For stats, I would have approximately Larva 1|1 no active skill, Juvenile 3|4 no active skill, Adult 7|6 good skill, Elder 5|5 same skill but slightly worse, Skeleton 1|1 no active skill.
- I would say that reverse timing a larva puts in back into the deck, reverse timing any other stage makes it a larva
- Killing any stage turns it into a skeleton, killing a skeleton kills the creature
Consider my ideas?
