Concept Behind:
When a player chooses his/her mark of element, he/she is fighting for that element. But most of time, as we all know, players "betray" their elements and use cards that never belong to them. ( Although the game itself encourages mixed deck, let us forget this here)
So here comes the new series : Trial and Justice. They come to punish all those "betrayers" and tell us what's the right thing to do.
Yes, these cards will have fun against rainbow deck but are completely useless when they face a mono-deck
Card Mechanic
Each Trial / Justice card is a spell.
When a Trial / Justice card is played, the opponent draws a card. This action presents the trial process.
If the card drawn does not match the mark of the opponent, he/she will be proved "guilty". Penalties will be enforced.
Different types of penalties are enforced according to the element of the Trial / Justice card itself
Possible Penalties:
For a Time Trial / Justice card, the guilty opponent will have all his/her creatures delayed for 2 turns
For a Death Trial / Justice card, the guilty opponent will get 5 poison counters immediately.
For a Aether Trial / Justice card, if the opponent is guilty, all your creatures become immortal
1. Do you think this will be a good idea ? Is there any way to make it better?
2. What penalties should be enforced for each element ?
3. How much should different Trial / Justice cards cost ?
4.Should the opponent be allowed to keep the card drawn if he/she is guilty ?
