New Card: Time Flow https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=33991.msg428766#msg428766

Hi
I have an idea for a new card.

Quick presentation:

Mechanic:

Basically this spell should speed up time a little. It is up to discussion how much and will it affect botch players, only enemy or player who use this card. I think that it would be nice to have ability to, for example, poison enemy creatures using plague or something and then use Time Flow to speed up time a little (one turn for example) and let them suffer more and die quicker from poisoning.
So it should look like this:
-poison enemy creatures
-play Time Flow in the same or after few turns
-my turn doesn't end, enemy also can't make a move but effects on creatures apply like when players use their turns so poisoned creatures suffer damage

Poisoning is just an example of how I see mechanic of this card. There is many more possibilities like faster recovery from freeze, faster depleting of cloak or phase shield, getting additional quanta from pillars etc. but his card shouldn't have any effects similar to shard of readines so permanents and creatures do not regenerate their abilities.

So.. what you people think about it? I hope this is good section for this post and don't mind my english.. I am from.. well deep Europe so to speak ;)

There is many possibilities.. it could affect poisoned players, unupped card can affect one things and upped others.. for example unnuped affects only creatures, upped could affect players as well, both or only enemy or only owner. Unupped not give you quanta from pillars and upped do give and again only for you or both players or only your enemy for balancing etc... this idea is rich in possibilities becouse using this card affects turns but players can't do enything on their own during those turns so bassicaly everything is rolling as it should when you and enemy don't taky any actions and just skip their turns, we only need to decide what will be affected and what will stay unchanged.

Two suggestions:

1) This might work better as a spell. As a spell it would be able to be made cheaper.

2) Change the wording to what happens rather than what doesn't happen.
Perhaps: "All creatures attack and all permanents activate." (This wording would exclude player poison, drawing and ability regeneration)

This would be similar to silence.

this seems like a really annoying card to come up against. you shold make it that if you can properly pronounce the name, you counter the card.  :))

I had a very similar idea, just browsed through previous ideas to see if anyone else came up with it.  I was thinking no player effects, only field effects.  Poison and aflatoxin damage.  Freeze, delay reduced.  Shield counters reduced, making this powerful against an aether deck.  Acceleration, malignant cell...there are probably some other fun ones I'm forgetting.  I like it because it has a lot of synergies, and you have to plan it right because it could hurt you, too...such as undoing your procrastination.

I think this is way overpriced, though.  I was thinking more like 5/2, 4/2 upped.  Prefer it as a permanent rather than a spell, because one turn of it really isn't a big deal, probably not worth stocking.

Does damage also occur?  Do weapons and/or creatures hit?
