Ok, so I randomly came up with some ideas to bounce off of people =) tell me what you think. I reckon these are gonna be hefty OP unless we can come up with some balancing. More on that later. .  (Also, sorry if these are unoriginal or boring)

Drought ( :water), Vacuum ( :air), Damp?(Better name?) ( :fire), un/holy word? ( :darkness/ :light respectively), Last rites/exocism? ( :death), Pollution/deforestation?( :life), Grounding ( :aether), Order? ( :entropy), and more names for the other elements as my bad naming ideas are running dry. Anyway, the idea is too either stop quantum production for that element (i realise this is OP, so probably high quanta cost) and i was also thinking a HP drain as these are dangerous events (hence the title), or perhaps emptying that pool (which is also ridiculous i know :() Thoughts?

I also had an idea for the opposite, things like Wildfire, Tsunami etc which would increase quantum production/availiable quantum for that element again with a HP cost. What do people think (especially for balancing and costs as im useless at that :p) but also of the ideas?

Darkness probably doesn't need one, since Pest is already around. ^^;

Earthing sounds more like  :earth (perhaps Tremor?) and Order is associated with  :gravity .

There was previous ideas similar to yours that destroyed quantum of a specific element (I believed one of these ideas was called AntiPillars, IIRC). Overall it's kind of situational as you might not even run into the element you planned to counter. Stopping quantum production might be a bit too strong for these cards.


As for destroying quantum in a target pool, you may want to look at Debilitate | Enervate (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,23619.0.html).

The HP cost idea might have potential, but how would it contribute to the game?

I said earthing for aether because i thought of earthing as in electricity, like the earth wire and all that =P and i chose order for entropy as these were opposing forces essentially, and because i couldnt think of something else which prevents chaos =P

Fair comment on pest though. Never considered that might be the wrong element youd be facing, means itd have to have a bit of guesswork there..
Im not sure myself on HP cost, that was just an idea i came up with when trying to think of things to tone them down a little, and it fits the theme quite well i think =P

That would more simply be "grounding"
It's more commonly called Grounding a circuit, plug that end into the Ground, etc...

Also, I'm confused about the title, were you trying to call it Natural Disasters? or were you trying to avoid that

Well, For the gravity breaker name, how about 'Pressure' I remeber reading somewhere that Pressure kinda acts against gravity by holding things apart, whereas gravity brings them together.
