I don't think it particularly
needs to be in Entropy, and it may just do fine in Earth, or Darkness. Also, this card isn't really worth upgrading if there's no decrease in the initial card's cost, right?
- what does take 5 steps mean? 5 turns?
- I still don't quite understand what this effect is?
- do you mean a random creature, magic or permanent is randomly use by either you or your opponent?
"Take 5 Steps" is the name of the ability. It references taking 5 steps in a dungeon/labyrinth (e.g. in a rogue-like RPG) into area that was previously outside your field of vision or areas where random encounters may trigger.
Unless, of course, it's not supposed to be referencing random/unknown events. In which case I think it would be cool if the next result is shown on the permanent when it's on the field.
Also, I agree that you don't really give us much to grasp at. Perhaps you can create a proof-of-concept list of effects with percentages (per copy) before this goes into the Smithy?
