Frankly I have no idea what "magical air attacks" are supposed to be if not spells. Did you mean spells are ineffective?
Also, does innefective mean they cannot harm you or cannot harm anyone?

And as with the other jinn the extra card drawing (outside of deck) is problematic

I read your opinions and I found that better give jinns only possibility adding random card not from deck, but with their only element.
