Im inspired to make a set of weapons. I see several Elements that have weapons that dont fit a mono-deck or have unusual effects. I want to make a set of new weapons that have different powers and abilities. Might throw a shield in here too.

:waterHarpoon | Narwhal
Harpoon: 6  :water, 6 Power, Immaterial
 0: Discard to deal 8 Damage to target water or flying creature or player
Narwhal: 6  :water, 8 Power, Immaterial

ok, updated with most ideas fleshed out. Still needs some changes and balance but the premise is there.

A few questions or comments
1 is a row side ways?
2 why is Torrent so similar to farheight the fire weapon?
3 wouldn't mind/psychic blade be its own denial deck right there?
4 is ache/pain a random card or does it have specific criteria ?
5 void/abyss has a similar issue compared to mind/psychic blade
6 is it only 1 permanent or all for breakdown/total breakdown?
7 why is harpoon/narwhal immaterial and why is it narwhal?  is it because their awesome?

Yep I think thats all for now

1) yes, there are three rows, center, top and bottom.
2) because its a nice effect and suits Air well.
3) its a form of denial but easily overtaken or reduced
4) its a random card
5) it can be a nasty denial, but its not as bad as fractal devourers, the quanta is not converted
6) breakdown destroys one permanent per turn, it does not affect pillars
7) its immaterial because it is a high cost and is sacrificed, just made sense
