This idea might have been posted already, so if it has, I wont try to take any credits for it. Card idea came out of annoyance by the general thought that "every element needs a vanilla creature". So what's a vanilla creature? I guess its something between photon and ruby dragon when upped, and between photon and red dragon when not upped (referring vanilla's attack). On the other hand it's hp is somewhere between 5-7. So it can take down at least one RoF, and not to get eaten, etc. It lacks skill, and we all know the reasons why's there a need to have them. So instead of
vanilla,
vanilla,
vanilla, and so on - let's make one vanilla that fits them all - since vanilla is vanilla, and I feel that open vanilla chapter in Elements book should be closed.
Card:
name: - optional!
card art: leonardo da vinci vitruvian man
non-upgraded:
6|6
cost: 6 quantum of your mark
upgraded
8|7

I assume that there are different vanilla IDEALS (not ideas), so it's cost, attack and hp don't really have to as mentioned above, that's still a subject to discuss.
This card does not mean that good vanilla cards should dissapear, or good vanilla ideas should not be implemented. And if one day every element gets it's own vanilla - we can forget about this "Vanilla". So this card is kinda self ironic.
