Subject: The flower card set is a set of cards that are either flowers or are thematically related to flowers. The effects of the cards themselves are almost synonymous with the cards that they go with. The skills of each of the cards take in account multiple things, such as the scientific purpose of the flower itself and the uses of the flower in the real world. Each of these characteristics of the flower are twisted a certain way to make them work in Elements. Some skills are a huge exaggeration of what the flowers actually do in real life, some are made up but based off of actual events (such as Nyctosynthesis), and others are made up off of the top of my head according to how the card looks or how I interpreted that it works.
Purpose: The purpose of this card set is to make a set of cards that would be both useful to the Elements meta-game in the diversification of decks and improvement of strategy and to make a card set that is thematic with plantlife and flowers. I will accept any comments on the card set and will try to update it more often than I did before in 2014. Before today, the last time this card set was updated was November 2014. This was because the card set idea was getting old to me and it sort of withered away. Not to worry, as I am more focused now than I was then. I only have four more cards to make, and I will make these four cards and complete this set.
Progress: When I rechecked this thread, I apparently had 6 threads and 8 cards made. So currently (5/23/2015), I have 5 outdated threads on cards and one thread I just made today for Hydrangea. This card set is coming together. I could use some help on ideas for the skills of these flowers, but nevertheless, I can manage without. Links to each of the cards are here below:
Chromathorn - Inherit a random flower's ability
Stargazer Lily - On death, spawn a random amount of dragonflies
Sakura - On death, destroy some of the opponent's quanta
(Sakura's health depletes each turn) Columbine Blue Bird - Negates three spells aimed towards creatures
Deathbloom - Spend one darkness to generate one death and to poison a random creature for one poison damage (repeatable)
Nightspring - Steal the target card for two turns and return it (destroy it if Nightspring is upgraded)
Dandelion - Delay a target creature for two turns at the expense of one HP of Dandelion
Desert Rose - Heal yourself for 4 HP every time a spell is used (that uses quanta)
Hydrangea - Heal yourself for double the damage this creature takes every time it survives an attack
Mother Rose - Skill has yet to be determined
Flame Orchid - Damage friendly creatures for added ATK / Sacrifice friendly creatures for added ATK
Cactus Flower - If this creature is shielded, poison the opponent.
Lithops - Skill has yet to be determined
I have to go remake threads for all of these flowers. This will take a while so please bear with me.
