Card concept : Hell fire https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=43820.msg1004445#msg1004445

This a concept which I really want turn to a real card :

1. I want to make a card which does huge damage (could be in HP, quanta or hand) to both players. Such card should induce negative profits on yourself.

For example, both players suffer 30 damage, cost : 8 quanta. This card does not create HP difference but you will need to pay 30 quanta for it so you will only use it when necessary.

Of course, I'm not gonna make a card which simply makes both players lose lots of HP because that would be too powerful.

The current version I have in my head is a card that destroys up to 3 cards in opponent's hand, and deal 8-10 damage to yourself for each card destroyed.

2. I also want to include 2 elements in this card : Darkness and Fire. For example, both players suffer X damage for every  :fire you have, cost 8  :darkness. OR, destroy one card in opponent's hand and deal 10 damage to yourself for every 10  :fire you have, cost X  :darkness.

Anyone has any idea on this Hell fire concept ?

:fire has already so many huge damage cards, so :darkness or :death (sacrifice) will be better imo.

Maybe make it a darkness card that causes damage based on available :fire and causes deck discard based on available :death . Then you work all three in and it would be a flexible duo (could power off of mark and off mark pillars / pends) or powerful trio.

Thematically, hell is often described as a place of darkness and spiritual death, and is often characterized by searing fire ...

Although in some philosophies it is characterized as a frigid wasteland (as in Russian conception of hell ... or the Norse traditions where those who don't make it Valhala would get left out in the cold)

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
