Well from what I just read, for 5
or 4
, you hide the opponent's next three card draws from him for three turns. Am I correct in making this conclusion?
For starters, you defined that the only two things you can see is whether or not the card hidden is a creature, spell, or permanent and the amount of quanta (unknown) that you'd need to play this card. I don't believe that there is a purpose in revealing these details to the opponent. This card should keep
all details of the card hidden from the opponent until the amount of time needed for the effect to expire has passed.
Secondly, not to bash you or anything, but I don't see the purpose of this card. Hiding the cards drawn from the opponent doesn't do much to remove dapper from the opponent's strategy as most of the cards contained within the opponent's deck is contributing to the strategy of the deck. So regardless of the cards you've hidden from the opponent, if the opponent is fully competent and aware of the content of his deck, they will know that the cards in their hands are non-detrimental. This is where the first suggestion before this paragraph would be useful as well. If the opponent knows each of the cards in his deck, than revealing the type of card and the cost of the card will only help the opponent figure out which card it is and ultimately void the purpose of this card.
Finally, does this card remove the opponent's ability to play the card? If not, than this card shan't be very useful in the meta. I don't see this card having any effect on the AI since the AI will know all of the cards in their deck and there is no way for an AI not to know which card is in its hand. Granted, the AI makes some stupid moves sometimes, but I think any forum member can tell you that the AI knows all of the cards in their deck, as it's programmed that way. Knowing all of the cards in the deck, cloaking the cards that they receive in their hand doesn't do anything to stop the AI. If you were to remove the ability to play the cards on the turns that the cards were cloaked, the card would have more use than if it were to alone be cloaked.
Final thoughts on this card? It could use some work. The card should completely hide what the opponent's next three card draws are and remove the opponent's ability to play them. If you want, the card can also remove the opponent's ability to discard them, basically flooding the opponent's hand with unplayable cards and effectively becoming useful in a denial type of deck. This would increase the potency of the card. In addition to added synergy with Pest, Discord, and Nightmare, you could make the cards effected by this ability unable to play and unable to discard.
